Listening to the radio, they barely mentioned Albrighton, but watching those brief highlights you can see how involved he was. 1. The ball to Gray was superb, 2. When he ran in front of Musa he pulled some defenders with him opening up space.

As per usual Albrighton was an unsung hero by doing nothing particularly flashy. The idiot behind me was bad mouthing him and saying things like 'he looks out of breath he's unfit'. The numbskull was clearly only looking where the ball was at any particular  time. The amount of running and work Albrighton was putting in either to provide cover or make himself available for a pass was as per usual incredible. Which is why Ranieri picks him and knows his worth to the team as a whole.

Is there a website which shows distance covered for various matches? Or averages for all players?

Albrighton really does cover some ground. From the sound of the radio coverage I think Ndidi might well have covered a lot of ground too.

First Goal: Albrighton to Gray to Musa

Second Goal: Musa to Drinkwater to Musa

Thanks. No mention in the reports of Albrightown's pass, but it was pinpoint. Superb. Good to see Drinky being right up there to deliver the killer pass too for the second.

Gray's simple hard ground-level crosses along the line are very accurate too, and proving increasingly effective in recent weeks.

An away win against a premier league team who were taking the Cup seriously has got to be positive. Debuts, game time and giving players time to gel has so many positives. We need to be a unit and giving the likes of Mendy,Ndidi and DD playing time together has got to be a plus going forward. Also gives Claudio extra options to consider. Ndidi and Mendy seemed to have had good games.

Only negatives seem to be the violence and the digs at Walshy Snr, the game came in and helped us from a mid to higher championship side to Premier league Champions and his input has helped the club improve the value of the squad by easily £100 million plus. The guy wanted to be nearer his roots, we owe a debt and thanks that can never be repaid and certainly not by boos.

Great win Leicester. Everton were Paul Merson's pick to win the cup too :D

And the others he picked to do well were Bournemouth and Stoke. lol

Delefeou will do that to pretty much any full back in the league so nothing too concerning there.

Delighted for Musa to get a couple of goals today. So glad we're able to put out a good Premier League standard midfield out again.

The mistake Chilwell made was letting him bring the ball. He got done at first, but got too tight and didn't have the pace or strength to get in front of him. Important thing there is to get your man to the byline or force him to play the ball.

Waited bloody ages for just those 90 second highlights and no discussion after

Did get to witness Liam Moore's horrific defending against Man U though. Definitely no regrets letting him go!

And he missed a sitter at 1-0 I think

Great post. He's not been great for large parts of the season but he works his socks off for the team.

I believe he's far better now on the right and with Grey on the left and the lads in midfield we suddenly look better balanced.

Really chuffed that we won that, I'd like to see us go on a good Cup run now. Best we can hope for in the league is midtable.

Also good to see us finally mix up the formation and personnel, I don't think it's a coincidence our form has improved slightly in recent weeks.

Don't know why but love seeing the white shirt blue shorts and socks.

I thought it looked particularly hypnotic whilst Everton were playing in the exact reverse colours.

Have to give Claudio some praise yesterday. 1st half we sat back and defended well but offered very little going forward but 2nd half we got Drinky so much further up the pitch and looked a massive threat.

Thought it was a very good all round performance.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ranieri actually wanted to switch to 4-3-3 sooner, but couldn't do so as Drinkwater, Mendy and James were all out.

We were told this pre season

Interesting to see if we go three in the middle against Chelsea. We took the game to citeh and it worked. Not sure claudio will make that mistake on Saturday

Really great win, away from home too.Ndidi had a decent debut and will get better with more game time while Musa did brilliantly taking his two goals. the second he scored was fantastic the way he layed it off and got it back before firing it into the goal. superb. hopefully he will continue his development with us at an upward curve and show the club and fans what he can do on a regular bsais.the midfield looked good with Mendy and Ndidi sitting while Drinkwater got further forward and more involved. obviuosly having Ulloa as the lone striker was not going to do anything but as long as they had runners who would go beyond him and link up with him to do the work. thankfully Claudio was able to make the change and bring Musa on and we need options like that coming off the bench

I just watched the goals back, and you see why Gray isn't always trusted by Ranieri

Chilwell is one on one with their winger and gets beaten and Lukaku scores. Watch what Gray is doing.  Instead of tucking in and protecting Chilwell in case he gets beaten he just stands there and ball watches. Albrighton would have coveted Chilwell.

I'm sure Gray will learn in due time but this is probably why Ranieri is reluctant to start Gray often.

Just shows you why he took Gray off against Everton boxing day instead of Albrighton. Leicester fans booed that decision (I wasn't too happy with it either).

Certain Gray will learn, probably watched the game back by now and been instructed a 100 times what he did wrong.

In regards to chilwell, full backs will get beat time to time, if they didn't wingers/wide men wouldn't exist. Hes young again and is only getting better. It wasnt many years ago Albrighton was terrifying Man utd and Luke Shaw in a game i seem to remember.

Chilwell was done for pace for Everton's goal but there were 3 defenders who could have blocked the cross.

He just didn't do very well full stop in that instance, done all ends up, but it's going to happen he's learning, no qualms with it myself, he'll get rinced plenty more times in his career it's all part of the development and learning how to play full back in one of the best leagues in the world.
