FoxyPalace.com Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 Who cares I certainly do not. Mahrez was dog turd this season, Go to Arsenal and sit on the bench. Maybe we already have a replacment sorted who knows?
mozartfox Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 Do not care now about him going, but care big time about the fee.. With 3 years left on his contract we must spank Wengers Arse massively here.. If any fee is described as 'in-disclosed' - this means we have been mugged.
lgfualol Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 No chance we'll replace him effectively. It will be a miracle if we get someone as good as Mahrez can be on his day. Sad times.
Dan Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 We better be getting some good money here. But, given it's a relatively early deal in an Arsenal transfer window, I'd guess we won't.

We always insist on undisclosed fees even for development squad players. The club will probably say 'club record fee received' like they did with Kante - i.e. anywhere above £32m which isn't informative. but no doubt the figure will be leaked elsewhere
Wortho Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 Of all the club's to go to. Afc paid £32m for Mustafi or however you spell it.
foxy boxing Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 They paid over 30m for Xhaka and he is useless, mahrez is worth so much more
Wymsey Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 If he goes, he'll really want to give it a go against us in the first league game. Hope he's double man-marked or something.

Quite happily watch a wild Benni tackle leave him reeling on the floor in the opening minutes, but then we all know it only takes a brush on his shoulder to send him flying!

moseeds Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 FFS the hate for Mahrez is unreal. Makes us look like a petty small-time club. Perhaps our players and other targets have cottoned on to that.

But he still gave me more pleasure than any other player last season. I know he won't but I'd love it if he stayed, and had some help (a) on the coaching side and (b) with his ego.

I prefer players that actually want to play for the club instead of dreaming bigger.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 If someone doesn't want to play for Leicester they can fvck off for me he suits Arsenal to be fair posing love themselves types
SheppyFox Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 He'll look good in a gunners shirt, in a gunners physio room
Bert Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 He'll fit in well there if the fans from Arsenal tv are anything to go by. They love an over-reaction more than us.
car1os Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 It's a shame but looks like it's going to happen. He's a wonderful player at his best but he doesn't want to stay and it's best all round we only have players who will do anything to play for our shirt and our club. At least we'll make a profit of almost 100 times what we bought him for, let's hope Shakey gets this back to strengthen the team further. Need a minimum of RB and CB, and replace any other players who leave after Mahrez
Happy Fox Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 Hopefully we are savvy enough to get a player as well as cash.
RODNEY FERNIO Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 Ozil , Mahrez and Sanchez sounds quite tasty. Ozil, Mahrez and no Sanchez sounds like a recipe for disaster.
Lovejoy Posted 2 July 2017 Posted 2 July 2017 With the lads back for preseason this week it makes sense to tie up a deal quickly. Can't help but be a bit annoyed at him saying he wants Champions League and signing for Arsenal though. Nowhere near as gutted as when Kante left though.
