Has that touch of class, can bring the ball forward, though has it in him mentally to play a more defensive MF. Plus Delph would frickin' love to play at LCFC, no question in my mind. He would immediately be our best MF on the ball, so he would have plenty of opportunities to bring the ball fwd and provide that critical controlled link to the attack that he loves so much. If he costs less than £10m and lowered his wage demands them I'd agree.

That is what I was thinking, MC asking £12m and he makes 90 p/w, £10m at around 50-55 p/w. Maybe we can get a package discount from MC at this rate. He is almost certainly taking a big cut in pay wherever he goes, no chance Stoke is paying 90. Besides, he needs to rehabilitate himself so he can score another fat contract down the road.

So what about the other 68 pages and various rumours... Really hope we pull this off and quick before someone else beats us to it and he scores for fun for them next season. As close to a cert signing as anyone can make at that price.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 1 July 2017 Posted 1 July 2017 Been told we will only sign him if this reaches 100 pages no bamboozle

dannythefox Posted 1 July 2017 Posted 1 July 2017 We really need this to happen as I've not even seen us linked with another striker other than deeney who would play second fiddle anyway.

Vardy and Slim are perfectly capable of putting them away. We need someone to create the chances for them.

You're on to something there Danny! Precisely what we need is someone to play second fiddle, Vardy of course stays as our soloist!

If we get Ineanacho he would start with Vardy imo.

I'm much more interested in a creative midfielder than anyone at the moment. Ngolo managed to start a lot of attacks with his interceptions. We may not have the same interceptive capability, but we still need to create those chances. I fear we'll sign two decent centre halfs but no one to create changes for Vardy and Slim.
Wymsey Posted 1 July 2017 Posted 1 July 2017 With Leicester Mercury stating Defrel is close to a move, that might well mean this one won't happen - unless Ulloa finally leaves.

I think we need to buy a creative midfielder aswell as a centre forward and another defender or two if we are to be competitive this coming season like you say if Ulloa moves on maybe we get another centre forward
