Bazly Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 There was a time when you could name with a great deal of certainty the starting 11 but I have the almost certs for the first game of the season barring injury and unexpected transfers as: Huth Simpson Fuchs Ndidi Drinkwater Vardy Lots of places up for grabs, that should motivate the likes of Gray in the pre season jamboree. Pity Keane went to Everton, he would have fitted in nicely.
Finnegan Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 Maguire, Vardy, Albrighton I think. Minimum one of Drinkwater and Ndidi.

filbertway Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 Simpson, seeing as he's the only right back we will ever have until he retires from the game.

Captain... Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 With only 1 significant signing so far I think it is pretty obvious what our starting line up will be at the moment, obviously lots of time for that to change and for the fringe players to stake their claim.
Guest MattP Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 At the minute only Vardy, Albrighton, Fuchs and Kasper and Simpson given our activity in the transfer market.

lgfualol Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 Kasper, Maguire, Ndidi and Vardy for me too. Chilwell or Fuchs as well. All the rest can be upgraded upon.
Thracian Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 Not at all sure about Kasper being here. I'd hope so, of course, but I don't assume it. At the very least we need some positive signings, and soon. People who just might convince our top men that it's worth staying. We have to match the ambition of our best players. That's not just about money but about the quality of our targets and whether we actually deliver. So far being supposedly well advanced concerning potential signings doesn't seem to have materialised into much.

Ian Nacho Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 At the moment the only certainty would be Kasper, Simpson, Maguire, Fuchs, N'didi, Albrighton and Vardy.
Vacamion Posted 4 July 2017 Posted 4 July 2017 I see the now annual pre season writing off of Marc Albrighton is underway. He's only slightly less essential to our style of play than Vardy.
