Happy Fox Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Pat MurphyVerified account @patmurphybbc Follow More Still a waiting game for @dcfcofficial re Lawrence & Toral. Hoping 4 developments on Lawrence this wk,while Toral may take longer,if at all.
Filberts lovechild Posted 31 July 2017 Posted 31 July 2017 Think we need to see what will happen with mahrez otherwise what other wingers do we have behind Gray / albrighton
Durnerz Posted 1 August 2017 Posted 1 August 2017 Sky Sports News saying we have rejected a £7m bid from Derby.
Fox92 Posted 1 August 2017 Posted 1 August 2017 Can't afford to lose, potentially, Mahrez, Gray and Lawrence. We need some creativity. I have faith in Lawrence. He's shown glimpses in pre season and after a great season in a poor Ipswich side he deserves a chance in the PL.

foxy boxing Posted 1 August 2017 Posted 1 August 2017 If we are not going to sell him then we need to give him a chance in the first team to prove himself. He is highly rated amongst championship teams and other Premier League teams may start to look at him. Either give him a chance or loan him out and let him express himself

Webbo Posted 1 August 2017 Posted 1 August 2017 Didn't say we'd turned down their bid because of the price. It could be we're waiting to see what happens with other players leaving.

ClaphamFox Posted 1 August 2017 Posted 1 August 2017 8 minutes ago, Cardiff_Fox said: Maybe we just don't wanna sell him? No, it's sheer greed. The same greed that led us to turn down £32m from Roma for Mahrez. We're just so bloody greedy.
Guest FriendlyRam Posted 1 August 2017 Posted 1 August 2017 Maybe its the fact leicester know we are desperate for a quality winger as we are heading into the new season with jonny russell I have no idea why some of our lot are seething either, we sold ince for 10m and most of our fanbase felt they were robbed, ince was worth 15m according to some,, yet lawrence outscored ince last season in a s*** ipswich side and our lot are saying 7m is greedy? Ffs, you want quality you have to pay the going rate. We are crying out for a player like him though.

It doesn't seem to mean a lot nowadays. Keane went for £30m to Everton and we got Maguire for a possible £17m despite one year left.
