Doesn't say he is in talks with them

No - but claims that the clubs are in talks and that the player is interested in the move...which pretty much means that he would have had contact with them.

Bit depressed at this, actually.

Maybe my memory is not what it used to be, but do seem to remember DD saying the he wanted to sign for City for the rest of his playing career.

You are correct.

He signed a contract when we got promoted and said he could see himself playing here until he retired.

The video is on LCFC's youtube somewhere.

i don't think shakey is secure in his skin or job to say anything that might cut across Top's areas or responsibility; i would like top to come out and close this down before drinky's agent gets any more excited than he is.  thiw would send the message... its called leadership

This is not the way they have done it in the past and will not be on this matter either.

I realize Rudkin bashing is the in thing. But thank our lucky stars we don't have Chelsea's DOF. Sell Matic, let Loftus Cheek, Chalobalah and Abrahams go then scramble the last week like crazy because one of the best managers in the game is unhappy with his squad, which actually seems reasonable, as clearly, he has no control over recruitment. Who on here wouldn't have taken Loftus cheek and say 25-30m for Drinkwater if we had to lose him. 20m and Loftus Cheek would have been a great deal for us. Abramovic is having his pants pulled down by somebody. Do they win the league and then bet against themselves or something as their business is unbelievably poor the season after being good. Then they play catch up. Weird..

There is an argument that abramovich does it on purpose because oligarchs that become too successful tend not to hang onto their dosh as the state doesn't like to see individuals publically more successful than mr putin. It wouldn't do for Chelsea to be winning year after year. Seems an odd one but not sure there aren't many better explanations!

You r right.... but it would not be a bad thing to start to cool dtinky and his agent down.... and would deter other ckubs from trying to turn heads of our players

Indeed, but how many of us have said "to love and to cherish, in sickness and in health, til death do us part, blah blah blah"

Means jack when something better comes along

Whispered after he had his legs crossed

He'd go if they offer him the dollar. At this stage though we won't accept peanuts, presumably there's no release clause and I don't think there's any evidence he's angling to go.

Let's hope Ibora is the answer because from what I have seen from Matty James his not.

Tad harsh on James, Arsenal and Man Utd were always going to be tough games - he was playing in the Championship last year, it's gonna take a few games to get back to his best.

Wasnt great against Brighton

plus Arsenal are a shadow of themselves,

Dont get me wrong hope he succeeds, but what is back to his best? playing for a team struggling at the bottom of the league in 2014? We have moved on.

A better sub than king, but if we lose DD he needs replacing

Don't like the truth? Take it your just another clueless supporter who think we're a big club.

Its not the truth they are pointless players and you're boring,i think we missed a chance to push ourselves up the food chain and im annoyed by it.King and Amartey would not make many other premier league benches.

We haven't moved on though, 7 or 8 of our starting 11 also played in that struggling team.

I don't know if he'll succeed or not. But others that we thought wouldn't did eventually, when the teamed learned what it took and got used in the right system.

Unfortunately he's been thrown in the deep end because of all the CM injuries. Nobodies ideal scenario was chucking him in with two very hard away games. Nobody thought he was going to be a starter straight away.

Think we should remember when he left the pitch at Arsenal we were winning 3-2 as well.
