Can someone say something to cheer me up?!

The suns out !! ....  :)    It's a lovely day and I'm off to a barbie in a bit to soak up the rays and sink a few beers !

Not sure if that'll cheer you up but it's definitely made me feel better ....

If DD does go Chelsea i fell for him, as i cant see him getting in the team ahead of the likes of Bakayoko, Fabregas etc, as imo they are better than him

but if he wants to go and we get a over the top price for him then fine, but it will hurt his career going there imo unless hes starting games every week

Drinky will want to play for England next summer. He has a condition that means the more he plays for his club, the less he can play for his country.

He knows that moving to Chelsea will mean less football and staying here could mean he has to play through the pain like last season and missing out on Russia. Add on the 40/50k per week and s/o fee and what would you do ??

With all due respect....unless you're the calibre David beckham, Stephen Gerrard, Frank lampard. Then there is NO WAY you'll get picked for the England team if most of your time is spend sat in the bench for one of the big four clubs.

im not sure what logic you're getting at by picking a player for England that is out of shapes, out of playing time and probably not on form.

I dont really get this

they want to play with two holders and fabregas isn't a holder. So they only have NG and bakayoko to play PL, cup and CL fixtures. Players will have made the point to conte that In a World Cup year they don't want to be exhausted come may.

DD will start around 16 games by may, even if they have no injury problems in that area. In addition he will see plenty of sub appearances and all for an extra 50k/week. Everyone saying his career will disappear down the toilet is, imo, wrong. He will do just fine in that holding role with less responsibility to be creative.

would be sad to see him go but Drinky has been utter wank here for a little while now let's not forget that

I hear now Chelski want Vardy too and he's not really been firing on all cylinders lately either ...    Unload the pair of the sh1ts ...   Maybe offer them a buy one get one free deal to make it more tempting.

Morgan and Ndidi have been a bit below par too ...   Wonder if someone might want those two on a similar deal ...

Mind you, we could always sell the fookin lot, change our name back to Leicester Fosse, and start again ...

Yes I'm bored by their shitness too.

There decent steady players, every team needs players like that. Kings played under every manager since league 1 so he's not shit. Not many players are happy being just being in the squad.

Shakey said he's not quite ready. True or not that's what weve been told and have to take as face value. Right now any other theories are pure speculation including him refusing to play and should not be given time of day until proven otherwise.

Would not be FT without a conspiracy theory.

Sorry not going to cheer you up.... our chance of transforming into a bigger club died with last summers transfer window and our reluctance to buy because we didn’t want to upset those who had won the league.

As annoying as it is we’re effectively at the level we were at post survival season and we’ll finish in the top half because it’s a piss poor league this season and there’s definitely ten teams worse than us. (I guess that’s something to be cheery about??)

Don't blame the club for the loyalty most on here think those players should be treated like gods. People forget we are fans players are employees. They got paid well bought a 100k car and other bonuses.

But all will fvck off given the right offer. Our club is wrong for treating the players the way we have. To me that's the problem with our owners. The culture they have is a very loyal one the business they are in is very cut throat. Every days a learning curve for them.

Though I could be wrong.

yes  but i am interested in what friend, cleaner and pub bloke say;  if you ask enough people what the weight of a cake is and take the average...  it is usually bank on

i don't think shakey is secure in his skin or job to say anything that might cut across Top's areas or responsibility; i would like top to come out and close this down before drinky's agent gets any more excited than he is.  thiw would send the message... its called leadership

You'd have thought that just one of Chelsea's 5000 players they signed to stop anyone else signing them would have been good enough to see them through September.

All it says is that the two sides are in negotiations - we want 40m and they don't want to pay that much

it also allows for the scenario where we can't find a replacement and the deal doesn't happen

I realize Rudkin bashing is the in thing. But thank our lucky stars we don't have Chelsea's DOF. Sell Matic, let Loftus Cheek, Chalobalah and Abrahams go then scramble the last week like crazy because one of the best managers in the game is unhappy with his squad, which actually seems reasonable, as clearly, he has no control over recruitment. Who on here wouldn't have taken Loftus cheek and say 25-30m for Drinkwater if we had to lose him. 20m and Loftus Cheek would have been a great deal for us. Abramovic is having his pants pulled down by somebody. Do they win the league and then bet against themselves or something as their business is unbelievably poor the season after being good. Then they play catch up. Weird..
