Fair play to Liverpool, no one gave them a chance some people even tonight said they were still going out. Fantastic performance over both legs.

Happy to see an Italian side through, always had a soft spot for Italian football from the 90s, Juventus, Both Milans were always my favorite sides as a kid. Always preferred Lazio over Roma but both are great clubs with great support.

Why we love football isn't it? Little chance of it happening but things happen, inferior teams get a break and encouragement, better teams start to doubt and then unlikely results occur.

I'm glad both Liverpool and Roma progressed to the semi-finals. Makes for a refreshing change, the Champions League has been terribly repetitive in terms of winners in recent years.

 

Sadly, I still think it's either Real Madrid or Bayern to win it this year.

I would love to see Klopp's Liverpool against Bayern in the final.  I can see Bayern beating Real.

Out of interest why? What have you seen of Bayern what suggests that? They've been extremely fortunate in their draws and when coming up against real quality in the group stages got absolutely wallopped. The Bundesliga is so mediocre; they are challenged about three/four times a season as it stands.

Just a feeling.  I agree they haven't been great, but they have an annoying habit of coming good when they have to.
