weller54 Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Fantastic confidence booster by beating Spurs tonight.... Followed up by a 2-0 win against Gravel Throat's Boys!
Wymsey Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 3-0. These are just a hyped-up top Championship side imo.
Corky Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Although the match tonight was probably knackering, having an extra day before the game compared to Burnley might be an advantage. This will be a tough game, they are pretty resilient on the road this season. Another win and the table will be looking pretty healthy. Can see Gray coming back in from the start.
foxfanazer Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Erm.....winnit! This will be a tough game but one we should be winning at home. Really hope the Spurs result kick starts our season
Kendal Fox Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 It's my birthday on Saturday so please win City!
Vacamion Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 They will park the bus and lump it forward. Strangely, I think this works better against high quality possession-based teams (I’m not deluding myself that we fit that description), but have hope it won’t work against us.
rn9013 Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 This will be a tough match, but in my opinion very important for our season. If we are serious about being a top half side, we have to beat sides like this at home, it’s the difference between top half sides and those in the bottom.

Don't know why, but I think we'll in some ways thrash these (no matter how deep they go, can see us finding holes and effectively use them).

Puel needs to address that if he is to succeed where the (recent) others failed because that is one area where we were throwing away points under Ranieri and Shakes - against the likes of Burnley last season and Bournemouth, etc...
Finnegan Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Got dull draw written all over it after tonight haha.
Koke Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 These cloggers are due a battering from us. But I predict 0-0 with us having 65% possession and afterwards Dyche mentioning what our netspend is.
StriderHiryu Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Burnley have been brilliant this season. A lot of credit must go to Dyche who was once derided on these forums (including by me) in the Championship days but who has done a fantastic job on limited resources. They are where they are in the league because they deserve to be there. But I think we will do them 3-1. I wouldn't be as optimistic under Shakespeare, but Puel has us playing football. They will sit back and make it difficult, but we will actually knock it about and make good openings. And our two best finishers just decided to get into goal scoring form at the right time! This is why I feel we made the managerial change, to give us an extra dimension for exactly this type of game. Lets see if we are good enough to do it! Also I look forward to giving Chris Wood some applause on his return. Maybe not as influential as Knocky for us, but he played a part and was unlucky not to have more of a run when we first got promoted.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Will be a tough game but winnable up the Foxes
lgfualol Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Schmichle Simpson Morgan Maguire Chilwell Gray Ndidi Iborra Mahrez Slim Vardy One win please
Charl91 Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Guaranteed win. How can they possibly compete against the Market Leaders?

whoareyaaa Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Too much class for this lot if we play anything like we did tonight Grovel throat will see what money can buy
Russell sprout Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 An early goal is crucial I think, the longer the score stays 0-0 the more I think they’ll sneak a 1-0 win, if we score early I think we’ll comfortably win 3-1,3-0
winteriscoming Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 I have this feeling it will be a draw - I'd of took 4 points from these 2 games before tonight. And knowing Leicester well do it the wrong way round
Stevosevic Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Need to follow up tonight with a win and then don't lose at Newcastle. I want to finish 7th.
Foxxed Posted 28 November 2017 Posted 28 November 2017 Hopefully we don't go into arrogently and assume beating Spurs means we'll walk over these.
