I know it's speculation at this stage but there's a fair chance we will win the next 2 games.

If we do that would 5 straight victories and might suggest we're on to something special.

Are we, or is this just a lucky run?

I don't think we'll beat Southampton to be honest. I'd take a draw but we will need to be better than we were against Newcastle. But I do think we are building a decent team and Puel is getting us playing nice football and moving away from just counter attacking. It's been great to see us have so much possession recently.

Early days yet.

Been a very good start but still a long way to go.

Though even if we do lose to Southampton I wouldn't be too upset. Not after the run we've had. Only 1 loss in 10 so gotta expect a defeat sooner or later

We're a work in progress with players still trying to understand the new system and way of playing, when it's like that anything can happen. As we saw on Saturday, despite being by far the better team, we did our very best to implode by making some bad errors.

On another day we could get punished even more, lets take baby steps and not start expecting to roll over every team because we've had a good start under Puel.

Let's get through the Christmas and new years fixtures first and then assess how we are doing!. it would obviously be great to win the next two games but we need to tighten up at the back.

Travelling up to Newcastle and then down to Southampton (The 2 longest distances between clubs in the prem, surely) will be tough on the players.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Claude rotate.

I think people need to stop getting carried away and take each game as it comes. Ive learned now to not get too excited when we win but equally not get too down when we lose.

Spurs aside we're winning games we should be. Southampton are is decent nick and a point wouldn't be bad. Really liking what Puel is doing so far though, there is a buzz around the club again.

I think we can all agree that things are looking up since Puel came in but we mustn’t become complacent or raise our expectations too much. He’s got us playing some nice stuff and we look a bit more solid. Need to address these individual mistakes because they will end up costing us points eventually

All in all a very positive start from Mr Puel

Just a thought that we've won 4 away games this calendar year.....

Against West Ham, West Brom, Swansea and Newcastle 4 of the curreby bottom 5.

I remain sceptical this constitutes something special. Wednesday will be much tougher. I'll happily take a point.

Really? A 25 minute car ride to East Mids Airport followed by a 30-40 minute flight and then about 20 mins the other end?

What is something special in the context of a Leicester fan? Win the Championship, greatest of great escapes, win the league, get to the quarter final of the Champions League...

We are looking much improved at the moment, but something special? :dunno: We have been something special, in more ways than one, for a while now.

If Claude can do a cup double and finish in the top half that is pretty special, then we can plaster his face all over the city and sack him 6 months later.

Definitely a great start - would have been even greater if we'd held on for wins away at Stoke and West Ham.

That's his biggest challenge IMO - making us much much stronger away from home. We mostly dominated Newcastle but gave away two very soft goals that could have meant two dropped points.

Sort out the away performances and we're onto something.

Sceptical about winning away on Wednesday. usually very optimistic but I would take a draw now if it was offered. :S

Over the years they are not a team we do well against.

Jock would have made 'em run from Newcastle to Soton with a rucksack full of bricks.

Winning four/five games isn't "lucky". It's hard to put a sequence of straight wins together.

Manchester City have won the last 14/15 games which is now a football league record I believe. That is incredible.
