Jury still out on Puel in home games for me, we can lack a cutting edge. Feel more comfortable when we play away currently. Would like to see him dispel doubts with a commanding performance and resounding win.

A big big game in our season, for many reasons. Full strength (barring injuries etc), it kinda should pick itself.

Schmeichel

Amartey

Maguire

Dragovic

Fuchs

Mahrez

Silva

Ndidi

Albrighton

Okazaki

Vardy

If they're going to sit back and counter this may be tricky. I wonder if Slim and Ian would be useful against these. Silva's first premier league start?

Subs:

Jakupovic

Albrighton

Slimani

It'll actually be:

Schmeichel

Amartey

Dragovic

Maguire

Chilwell

Mahrez

James

Ndidi

Gray

Okazaki

Vardy

2-1 Leicester

Almost entirely agree! Though Albrighton will start IMO

we've still been a bit dodgy against mid table teams under Puel so far, seem to play better against top 6 and rock bottom teams. hope that changes here

Could be a watershed moment in our season if we dispatch Watford on Saturday.

It's been our achilles heel dropping points to a lesser side on the back of an impressive result against one of the big guns.

Points against Chelsea, United etc are a bonus, not a substitute. This is our bread and butter game.

Thats what Puel would like us to be ultimately I think, based on last night's second half sub of Slim for Marc

Really? Palace aside we’ve been good!

Beat Spurs, should have beaten United, beat Burnley which was massively impressive and hammered Huddersfield

Well the only way us sitting back would work is if we knew how to defend.

We let in on average 2 goals a game so really there should be no excuse as the home team for you not to win...

Although you are in form and we do seem to perform better against such sides!

Watford are an awkward Team to play against. Their Big and like to play with a high Tempo.  I think our best chance is to get a grip on the Ball and keep them chasing us for the first 30 minutes. Then heads will start to drop and we can control the rest of the game.

Silva may not play a full game due to him getting up to speed, But he could be important in keep possession and getting control early in the game with Iborra, Wilf and Mahrez.

I think the opportunity to go 7th will inspire the team to give it a real go. Fancy a Win, but we need to watch Deeney second half.

Like to see Silva play. He appears to be a class act. There again, so does Iborra. On the other hand - neither played at Chelsea and we dominated.

What do others reckon?

Different to the start of the season when midfield was everyone's concern!

Won 1 out of our last 5 in the league. Same as you.

Watford looked like a real handful early season.  Do you think your drop in form is due to the Everton/Silva saga?

Yeah, I think on paper that team is what Puel is working towards?  I'd like to see us try it but we'll see.  Harsh on Okazaki though who is such a legend. X
