Grow up and get behind Riyad, or: stop listening to the press and wait and see how he reacts on the pitch

mzhrez return this morning to train with laughing znd smiles and all parties got their rights respected znd even puel demands ( 3 above ) were respected and seemed like mahrez responded positively to his boss

You like the "z" key, don't you? :D

We need a new management dream team of Zinedine Zidane and Materazzi, just for you!

I couldnt give a shit if he publicly apologises or not. As long as he puts in good performances, thats good enough for me.

That'll be good enough for everyone.

People are way overreacting this. Probably read papers too much.

If he comes back and is superb, like he has been this season, nobody will care about what happened. Football fans are fickle like that

Indeed!   Sad......but unfortunately true, and one of the main reasons why there is such a huge disconnection between fans and players in modern day football.

Among clubs, players and agents, the lack of honesty, loyalty, intergrity and respect for all others (incl supporters) are the defining factors in modern football and the reasons why the gap between players and fans reaction to this subject is probably so extreme.

I for one stopped paying to watch EPL football several years ago when i realised that my core values as a human being (honesty, intergrity, empathy and respect) were no longer evident and this whole Mahrez affair is simply another case of which of the 2/3 parties involved acted with the least integity as opposed to who actually acted in a 100% honest and respectful manner.

"Storm in a tea-cup", "show goes on", "all forgotten as soon as he scores again" etc, etc,..............until the next time...!

Excellent post. I've noticed that you don't post often but when you do I usually find them to be admirable.

I said earlier in the week he couldn't be swanning in on Friday, 24 hours before a match. And so he has. I'm gobsmacked re the timing, whose fecking running the show at LCFC. I now wonder whether he may even travel to Manc now.

Who cares when he comes back. Be happy he's back and things can get back to normal. Maybe this was a trick played on Man City. Say he's not playing, then he comes back on the Friday but then Saturday night he is not even in the squad.

I think he'll be back in the squad for the FA Cup. I'd rather he trained today than waste more days of uncertainty over the weekend, affecting us and him wasting valuable team training time.

Just spotted one of my personal highlights in the comment section of the BBC article:-

'Leicester only paid £400,000 so even if they got £1m they've more than doubled their money so I really don't see why they kept him. Plus they have a fantastic youth player in Gray'

My parents bought their 3 bed home for about 20k in the mid 80s. Wonder if they're happy to accept 60k now.

We are going to beat Man City 2-1 and Riyad will score the winner. It's in the stars.

You forgot the bit about Riyad racing across to face Guardiola, as he sits slumped and desolate on the Man City bench, then lifting his shirt to reveal the slogan, tattooed across his scrawny ribs:

"LCFC forever, you can stick your £50m up your arse!"

If this happened, I would touch myself.

Puell will probably start him on the bench and bring him on second half he then gets a second half Hatrick !!

How wonderful would that be , certainly would be superb against those Cnuts Peps little trick of unsettling him backfires on him ?
