That Sharpe guy at the Merc is alright. Tanner loves a "range of passing" or "real Rolls Royce of a player" line though.

 

Tbf they aren't dealt the best hand unless they get exclusive interviews with players current and old tbh, there's not really much unique about the paper unless you want all the current stories collated into one place the following day (because it's common knowledge the Mercury website is appalling). They can't break anything quicker than anybody else now thanks to Twitter or even this forum. How many members does it have scouring the internet everyday in search of transfer gossip and the like? A lot more than the Mercury's sports team I'd wager.

I think he is a decent player - came in for Huth at the end of last season and did a decent job from what I remember and did a decent job against Athletico away in the Champions League. Granted he can be rash at times but he also shows some class touches at times.
