Raw Dykes Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 That's that, then. Would have preferred Derby, but not that bothered.
Fox92 Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 Will enjoy the visit to Villa Park next season again. Good to see them back in the top flight.
KingsX Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 The most unsavory part of the whole deal ... Former owner Randy Lerner is on course to net a £30million windfall if Villa win promotion at Wembley. The proposed bumper payout was agreed during Tony Xia’s takeover of the club following relegation from the Premier League in May, 2016. The deal included a clause which would see Lerner net an extra £30m if they were promoted within three seasons. Hope that comes out of their transfer kitty.

Vacamion Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 Not enough crowd shots of distraught Derby fans, IMHO.

surrifox Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 I expect some Wolves style bullshite about how they will be top 4 in 2 years
TheUltimateWinner Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 Personally think Lampard got a lot wrong today...
foxfanazer Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 They'll have to improve massively to stay up. Look bang average to me
Tuna Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 Villa deserve it, much the better team. Derby should have gone for it, can't understand why Marriott and Waghorn didn't start. In the end it was too little too late, and another season in the Championship for Derby.

martyn Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 Shame Derby were terrible until 2-0. Think Lampard will regret his team selection. Villa looked vulnerable when Derby got a focal point on in Marriott and got players buzzing around him. Villa will need strengthening at the back for the prem. Midfield is mostly premier league quality already.
Suzie the Fox Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 Grealish needs to taks some tips on a better hair gel from Chilwell tbh..

whoareyaaa Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 Actually wanted Derby to win if given a choice but now I'm glad they didn't tbh. Shit team

Vacamion Posted 27 May 2019 Posted 27 May 2019 I took it from that interview that Tammy won't be at Villa next season.
