Switch of to Wimbledon to see Maria Sharapova and her yelling

Just had quick peek and her opponent has longer better legs and a sexier moan when she plays the ball.....

back to footy now

If Sterling comes out in the second half, I'm convinced that he's caught Southgate in a precarious situation. Also Alli can just do one! Thinks he's Messi with the actual agility of Sterling!

I really wish the pundits would have had the bollocks to say that's never a red card.

For the record, I'm with you on Kane and the penalties against Tunisia. I'd also like to say, we all know it, Nasri should never really have been sent off vs Vardy. Oh and while we're on Tunisia, theirs was never, ever a penalty. The pratt just walked in to Walkers arm and jumped on the deck. Which leads me on to this...

... Which should never be a red card.

It just isn't violent conduct. If it was violent conduct, Henderson wouldn't still be playing, he'd be off somewhere getting his nose put back together.

If we don't stop punishing players for a tiny bit of contact then players are never going to stop diving at a tiny bit of contact. It's a ridiculous chicken and egg situation.

If you're not actually risking injury to anyone then let a few tempers flare, it's a passionate game.

You're stamping on someone's ankle or something I'm all for sending you off. You're really punching someone or actually properly nutting them or elbowing them? Straight red.

But you brush someone on the nose with your finger tips or nudge them with your head? Just book the twat for handbags and get on with it. That's not violent conduct its just embarrassing.

It is a red card end of... violent conduct knows what he is doing everyone sees him head butt him. How can you stick up for that nasty bunch

Weak referee is going to cost us ..

I don't think it's ideal having an American referee officiating a Columbia match, tbh.

Definite red card.

Different confederation, different continent... Don't see how the refs nationality matters?

Tell me in 45 minutes, until then I'm going to worry if you don't mind.

To worry is human    What’s silly is to pretend you’re keeping your expectations in check -- as if a bad result would hurt any less.

All very easy for the neutral, I know -- but I am excited for you guys.  Enjoying this very much.  Even deluding myself into thinking Vardy might come off the bench.

You’ve been the better side and Colombia haven’t threatened yet.  I also think we haven’t seen the last of your favored set play -- Harry at the back post with the headed assist.

I agree never a red card. Can’t give a yellow though
