Helicopter crash

Recommended Posts

The helicopter belonging to Leicester owner Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has crashed outside the King Power Stadium minutes after their draw with West Ham on Saturday evening.

Moments after taking off from the centre cirle of the pitch, the helicopter went into a spin and crashed just outside the stadium. Police and firefighters are at the scene.

It is yet unconfirmed who was in the aircraft, though it is believed Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is the only family member who attended the 1-1 draw on Saturday night.

I served 17 yrs in the Royal air force and seen many a crash and have never seen a helicopter crash that anyone lived through unfortunately . it will have span, hit the ground on its side, rotors hit the tank and it explodes.

There was a helicopter crash in my village (taking off) everyone survived - didn't catch fire - but there is always hope.

That's right next to Raw Dykes Road isn't it ?? Would've been a stream of fans walking up there.

It's the car park round the back of the ground, expect most if not all fans would be clear of the ground by that point. If there are casualties, it'd be the passengers and pilot
