He's turned us down in the past though, and I don't think as an aspiring 7th placed side we should be accepting players that don't really want to come. Top 6 cast offs that don't quite fit their system etc; maybe. Top 6 castoffs who've disrespected us in the past and don't really want to come but are being forced out? Nah. Having said that, Kante never wanted to come....!

Elneny certainly wouldn’t be an exciting move, but if you can get him on a free (or nearly) transfer, he’s not a bad option as long as we’re aiming higher in the summer. He is a marginally more positive player than what we have in Ndidi and Mendy, and a better distributor.

Yes but we’ll probably have him on the standard LCFC 5 year contract so if he does turn out to be crap he’ll hang around for years pissing everyone off.
