MPH Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/transfers/arsenal-transfer-news-mohamed-elneny-leicester-city-10m-staying-a7882946.html%3famp bit further back than the summer but he did reject us..
Gillies Apprentice Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 Yes , I seem to recall reports that we had an offer accepted for him a couple of years ago and he turned us down
Lovejoy Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 I’d take it with a pinch of salt, he doesn’t fit the profile of what we need.
Foxxed Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 We have five defensive midfielders in Mendy, Ndidi, Hamza, Iborra and Silva. I'd only buy him if both Silva and Iborra disappear. They're trying to offload him and are resurrecting all their old links. He's a decent player but he ain't going to be better than Mendy and we ain't going to bench a young, learning Ndidi. And I'd rather use Hamza as backup.
mozartfox Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 Would rather we sign Mohamed Ali. No thanks. We are better than this.
foxy boxing Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 Turned us down a few years ago, the Ninny!. we should be aiming for better quality
filbertway Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 Lazy journalism I hope, I know we're not great at transfers recently but a 10 year old could see we don't need another player like him.
urban.spaceman Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 Avoid Arsenal players like the plague.
Hanan96 Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 What kind of midfielder he is? Anyway will prefer loan drinkwater if we really want to sign midfielder. We. Already have 7
Crispin LA Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 So he turned us down last year, after we bid 10m for him when arsenal bought him for 5m. He only played 4 games for Arsenal and none this season and Emery is desperate to get rid of him to fund there purchase of Pablo which I read. I say no thank you another Kelechi who really doesn't want to join us but has no option as nobody is interested in him.
Crispin LA Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 So Arsenal want to purchase Pablo Fornals, which cost them 18m, and want to fund that with Leicester paying 15m for a player they bought for 5m 2years ago whose only played 4 games for them. Why should we help Arsenal out?

Ric Flair Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 We love a midfielder who averages around 1 goal a season. Come on in son, join the other 63 defensive midfielders. Hes ideal.
sylofox Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 I thought we had a thread for shite like this.
Clever Fox Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 For the same sort of money we should be buying Pablo Fornals. He's only 22 and plays in France. Our success rate there is better and Puel should know something about him.

GingerrrFox Posted 20 November 2018 Posted 20 November 2018 No chance after he rejected a move to us because at that point he would rather sit on the bench to live the London lifestyle.

Let’s hope so - I’d be surprised if he turned out to be anything but a poor signing for us
