Yes N'Didi Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 If you can't create/take chances you will not win football matches. Very typically Leicester - looked bang at the races for the last two games and today looked like we couldn't care less and got what we deserved ultimately.
HankMarvin Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Start as you mean to go on looked on the back foot to start with should’ve been more attacking to start Cardif grew in confindence
Vacamion Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Bob. Not Puel’s fault, although he will doubtless be blamed in here. Conceding a late loser was pretty predictable as the game wore on. Well played Cardiff, they executed their game plan, stifled our threat, rode their luck and deserved to win in the end. Those six points last week were precious. Clubs around us did not win, and we are still doing well in the table. Who knows what we’ll get away at Everton. And once again, booing our own player as he came on was utterly, utterly moronic. Shame on those who did so.
knitro Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 For a person with such a tiny, undersized head Maddison's ego certainly makes up for it in spades. There's so many shades of Mahrez about him (circumstantial effort, open disdain for teammates on the field) - add awful penalties to the list. I'll be off forgetting this sport somewhere. And can we CLOSE DOWN SHOTS - how many worldies need to be conceded before our midfield duo get wise? An analogy for the Puel-outers - Imagine you're hungry but when you look in your cupboard you see absolutely nothing appetizing - I imagine that's what it's like looking at our bench. Ghezzal actually looked competent so I expect the trogoldyte class here to be all over him. Nacho needs a goal like anything right now or he can expect to be shipped out. MOTM - Enforcement of Throw in location. Must've seen 4-5 corrections of this game critical rule. Ref less interested in timewasting.
Sir Shep Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Well shit! Our tradition of losing at home to a bottom team around Christmas continues! I guess I’ll just watch the Puel in clique slag off the outers now!
Corky Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 This season is so underwhelming. And to think I was annoyed at missing the game through illness. We're just not inspiring enough.
HankMarvin Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Just now, Vacamion said: Bob. Not Puel’s fault, although he will doubtless be blamed in here. Conceding a late loser was pretty predictable as the game wore on. Well played Cardiff, they executed their game plan, stifled our threat, rode their luck and deserved to win in the end. And once again, booing our own player as he came on was utterly, utterly moronic. Shame on those who did so. How do you know they wasn’t booing the decision to take Vardy off
KingsX Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Heading over to the Fighting Cock as that will be far more entertaining compared to this thread.
Sampson Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Nonsensical substitutions cost us 3 points today. To take Vardy off for Iheanacho with 30 minutes to go at 0-0 is absolute suicide. Vardy scores that penalty all day long. Then Ghezzal, who was bizarrely brought on, runs into a player from nothing for Cardiff's goal.
5waller5 Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Terrible against a terrible side. Clueless going forward. The terrible game plan of lofting ball after ball into the box to literally nobody attacking it is sunday league standard. Sorry Claude but I've had enough of this sh*te.
Preston Fox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Completely predictable result. We are massively inconsistent. So annoying after 2 great results. Maddison should never take a penalty again
Beechey Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Our third game in a week was always going to be difficult. Given the 6 points against Chelsea and Man City, I'm more annoyed by how our fans are treating Iheanacho when he comes on than us losing today.
HankMarvin Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 So many Shit players the subs weaken our team so much Vardy goes off and we look even worse nacho is shit ghazel is shit okazaki is spent gray underperforms fail to see what mendy offers lots of deadweight
TheUltimateWinner Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 In my opinion the root cause of all our problems is our midfield two. Mendy and Ndidi is far too negative, how often in games does Maguire (and today Soyuncu) dribble past our midfielders and try to create something? They do this as all Ndidi and Mendy do is win the ball back and offload to a defender. We need a powerhouse to take the ball forwards. Either play a 3 or play a more attacking midfielder next to Mendy or Ndidi.
KingKoala Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 First away win for Cardiff this season,,, typical Leicester 4231 never works for us, it's clear!!!
Mark Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Lost all hope when we ended up with that appalling front 3 of Gray Iheanacho and Ghezzal. Get Barnes back ASAP and ship these out.
CloudFox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 @lcfceaves to answer your question: I thought we created a number of chances against a dirty team who were more focused on fouling us or falling over than attacking. That changed, but they were still poor. Other than that? Maguire and Soyuncu looked largely untroubled throughout most of the game, although Soy had a few iffy moments. Maddison ran the game apart from a poor penalty. Mendy looked good again. Ricardo was imperious as ever, as was Chilly to a lesser extent. Vardy, however, doesn't look right. It's like he's lost a yard of pace, but he definitely can't have. His decision making was poor too.
justfoxes Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 The last few months has shown we need to find a player who knows how to score on a regular basis we can’t always count on Vardy and struggle to score when he’s not on the pitch, but sorry to say but we’ve got players who every time they get a chance to shine disappoint in every way £25m Nacho what’s happened to this quality player Man City sold us ? Definately need to get rid of the deadwood bring in a few quality players next month!!??
Chester Dontlie Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 bye bye qualiteee, welcome back mediocriteee
lozzyblue fox Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Well done Cardiff came with a plan. Smash and grab. Would have loved to keep a smug look off Warnocks face. Poor Top having to pay for that drosses wages.
matty98 Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 The booing when Vardy got taken off was embarrassing, he's managing an injury. Gray isn't good enough, he doesn't make any proper runs, just jogs. Only positive for me was Ricardo, he's insane, I'd genuinely be tempted to play him CM where he could control the game more.
woznotwos Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 So happy with city over xmas to get bit h slapped by warnocks boys. Back to the drawingboard for Everton
UPinCarolina Posted 29 December 2018 Posted 29 December 2018 Absolutely ludicrous the pig-headed nonsense from the Puel Out crowd today. Worse than usual. Cardiff shit-houses a win and everyone loses their damn minds like we didn’t just lose on an absolute fluke dipping ball wonder strike that got yanked out of Score Hero.
