Albrighton is still playing and is a somewhat regular in the side. King was slowly being fizzled out of the side and not making anywhere near as many appearances when that contract was signed, if I remember correctly.

Marc has played more minutes than any other winger this season. Consistently impacting games and playing well. Feels more like Liverpool giving James Milner a new deal. Farrington fox Posted 18 January 2019 Posted 18 January 2019 So how old will he be in 22. The only thing I’d say, is he can’t really hold down a regular place in the side now, so as time goes on and as he ages, it will be less likely. Pleasing for him though, and a good reward.

Even if he ends up being 'just a squad player' in years to come, he's a great option to have. Don't tie this in with the King and James contracts, this is more like the Vardy and Maguire extensions. Good business.
