This feels like when Andy King signed a new 4 year deal.

Albrighton is still playing and is a somewhat regular in the side.

King was slowly being fizzled out of the side and not making anywhere near as many appearances when that contract was signed, if I remember correctly.

It definitely isn't- we need more quality out wide but Albrighton is still our best winger & would be more than capable back-up if we make more signings.

How? Albrighton is a much better player than King and plugs a massive hole in the squad.

I get that it isn't the most exciting news but I can't believe you're moaning about it.

I'm not surprised well worth it

I'm also not surprised some people will moan.

Completely agree…. His value to our team has regularly been undervalued

im delighted he’s extending his stay here

Has to be one of the best ‘Free’s’ ever…

How does it? What utter drivel. Marc has played more minutes than any other winger this season. Consistently impacting games and playing well. Feels more like Liverpool giving James Milner a new deal. He's not sexy, massively underated by some, hugely appreciated by others who understand the game.

Reliable honest player! But a bench player when we finally sign a higher quality winger or two! Interesting all the players signing up and the Spider-Man antics yesterday! Really feels like they hate puel ??

So how old will he be in 22. The only thing I’d say, is he can’t really hold down a regular place in the side now, so as time goes on and as he ages, it will be less likely.  Pleasing for him though, and a good reward.

Feels like he's been around forever. Amazing he's only 29.

He's a good player and I think will still be a good squad player at the end of this deal.

There is absolutely no negative to this. Simple as that.

He's everything the likes of Iheanacho should aspire to be.. effort effort and more effort even when he's got nothing left to give.

As an aside.... every time I see that Puma white kit I wonder if we'll ever get one that good ever again lol ****ing beautiful!

Sort of player contract extensions should be handed out to. Even if he ends up being 'just a squad player' in years to come, he's a great option to have.

Don't tie this in with the King and James contracts, this is more like the Vardy and Maguire extensions. Good business.
