I'm not saying theres a direct link or that they actually want Y T, just asking if Man U are showing an interest, then saying we will drop any interest in Y T if you drop the price in Maguire....

So you are saying there’s a direct link?

Despite the length of this thread .... I’ve heard that this one is taking too long so Rudkin has decided to focus all our attention on the Maynard guy.

Just like the supposed interest back in January, no other club are DESPERATE to get Tielemans. If Pogba goes they may want him but that won't be their only replacement and he will still be competing at a club that is very chaotic, but no doubt the sheer history and prestige of joining Utd will be a pull for him.

We need to make Monaco an offer they can't refuse and call out Utd's bluff, needs sorting one way or another quickly. It feels like other areas are being left until we sort this out but it could drag on.

£45m and Silva for Tielemans and see if Utd flinch.

We cant be that desperate if we not meeting the valuation.

Man United revive interest in £40m Belgian midfielder Youri Tielemans in case Paul Pogba departs for Real Madrid as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues squad overhaul

If this is the case it does feel like they're doing it just to do some bargaining over Maguire.

....no need to panic buy!!!!

I suspect he has already made up his mind he is coming to Leicester. United being a factor might just be a way for him to improve his pay. The fact that Silva is involved muddies the water somehow and agreement of his value may just be the sticking point.

Can't see him going to United in view of his experience at Monaco, regarding the hostility from their supporters and Jardim not in favour. A chance to play in an environment where he is supported and he can enjoy the game again , without the scrutiny of a big club gold fish bowl would a refreshing change.

If we are the lower bid and he has chosen us then there is nothing Monaco can do so long as it meets an agreed criteria.

HNB (Belgian newspaper), a quite reliable source, knows that the entourage of Tielemans had a few talks with United already. United has the most chance of getting Tielemans at the moment.

Hopefully they will go for Fernandes at Sporting . Proper player and an honourable club to deal with

And at £50m, the could have easily got him on a free last summer....

If Tielemans would sign for Leicester. It would have happened already imo. And Leicester would have paid the 45M to Monaco. I think United will buy him.

Tielemans is on holiday and it will be sorted out when he returns

I read somewhere that Jardim is lined up to replace Ole Gunnar Shakespeare it he doesn’t get off to a flyer. Can’t say where I read it though.
