Babylon Posted 2 August 2019 Posted 2 August 2019 Said at the start of the summer I’d be happy to lose Harry if it meant strengthening other areas as he just wasn’t as important as the others we have.
StriderHiryu Posted 2 August 2019 Posted 2 August 2019 The irony of Man United refusing to pay 60m for Maguire last season for 2x Champions League and 3x Premier League winning Manager Jose Mourinho only to then go and spend 25m more the following summer for a manager that was relegated with Cardiff is absolutely hilarious.
kyleolly Posted 2 August 2019 Posted 2 August 2019 Just listening to the radio and they were listing all his negative qualities in his game and were he’d improve surely at his age and at that price you’d want the pinnacle of defenders not some body who get turned easily when faced with a bit of pace
willie-bell-in-rothley Posted 2 August 2019 Posted 2 August 2019 Great deal for the club, cant wait to see Vardy rip him to shreds

And we've lost our best defender, our only real threat at set pieces, our only defender who can bring it out from the back, gain territory and link the defence to the midfield. And strengthened a direct rival. Annnnnnnd we're only going to have to spend half of it on a sub par replacement. We've just diddled Man Utd, now let's watch Burnley/Brighton do the same to us. Wow, slow down.
Nalis Posted 2 August 2019 Posted 2 August 2019 Some of the comments on here are downright disrespectful. Wouldnt go as far as club legend but one of the best ball playing centre backs in the country and a hero in the World Cup whilst playing for us.

urban.spaceman Posted 2 August 2019 Posted 2 August 2019 Manchester United have just spent more money on Harry Maguire than we have on our world class training ground.
Babylon Posted 2 August 2019 Posted 2 August 2019 So then.... so far we’ve made a profit of £12m this summer. Remember when people were giving the big one about spending big a week ago Always wait until the end of the window before giving it large, it’s the golden rule.
bfox Posted 2 August 2019 Posted 2 August 2019 Just now, mazarron fox said: I think if we took Phil Jones here away from the plastic limelight there is a player in there I would tend to agree. United have stalled, stagnated and regressed many top talents in recent years. Shows that one player coming in isnt going to propel them to the top anytime soon. Papering over cracks.

coalvillefox Posted 2 August 2019 Posted 2 August 2019 Are we going to reach 400 pages before he signs?
