Clever Fox Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 He would be a good replacement for Maguire but if he is coming as a replacement then I think one of the other CBs will be leaving.
KingsX Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 I wasn't too alarmed until I clicked the article and read this Rodgers quote about Harry. "There are still areas of his game he can improve upon. He can get better. No question. What he already has is incredible pace." The Tea Lady cannot be allowed to spike the brew with controlled substances.
RumbleFox Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 Good player. Hope Harry stays but if we get a mental offer then I think we would have to take it and Tarkowski not a bad replacement.
Nick Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 This is surely weak The Daily Mail making a headline out of Manchester United’s interest last year in HM and linking it to alleged interest as a back up in JT because The Mirror yesterday named him as an available option to clubs looking for a CB? GTFO

GTFO Toughen up cupcake! The BS will be traveling at Warp Speed starting tomorrow. Be prepared to have your reality twisted. The holodeck is waiting.
Nicolo Barella Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 To be fair Tarkowski would be a good backup with Evans for Soyuncu and Benkovic next season.
Bluearmyfox28 Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 I would be happy for this as a Maguire replacement if Big H is going to leave. Seems to have legs as a replacement seen this story a few times now. Hopefully answers the fans who question whether we have a plan b should we sell Big H or not get Youri.
Ian Nacho Posted 12 May 2019 Posted 12 May 2019 He is awful. Whenever I've seen him play I've never been convinced. Always got a mistake in him.
Koke Posted 13 May 2019 Posted 13 May 2019 Can he play football? Or has any resembles of passing and keeping the ball been drained out by Dyche?
Lovejoy Posted 13 May 2019 Posted 13 May 2019 Doubtlessly another unsubstantiated rumour. As we’re not a top six club, the press have almost certainly forgotten we spent £32m on two promising centre backs last summer. All they’re interested in is Maguire.
Fox92 Posted 13 May 2019 Posted 13 May 2019 No. I used to think he was solid, last season when Burnley had a solid defence, but this season whenever I've seen him he hasn't looked good. Granted, that's only when we've played them and whenever I've caught them on tv. He's no replacement for Maguire.

BR went on record whilst at Celtic stating that Benkovic was ready for the EPL. So if Harry goes why waste money on a CB from Burnley? This has to bollooks surely?

TheUltimateWinner Posted 13 May 2019 Posted 13 May 2019 No idea where his good rep comes from, every time I've seen him play he's been awful. Ben Mee would be the Burnley defender we want if we were after anyone.

I wouldn't want Tarkowski and i definitely wouldn't want Mee.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 No point receiving the massive money for Maguire to then massively overspend on Tarkowski. If we don't think Benkovic and Soyuncu are good enough to step up then we shouldn't be selling Maguire (unless he forces a move)

This is a non story
Plastik Man Posted 14 May 2019 Posted 14 May 2019 My brother in law is a Burnley season ticket holder. He's not been impressed with Tarkowski at all this season. He's been poor. Just agent talk hopefully.
spacemunky Posted 16 May 2019 Posted 16 May 2019 Id take the other Pole Bednarek, any day of the week.
Keiriel Posted 16 May 2019 Posted 16 May 2019 Tarkowski paired with Evans, Maguire on the wing. Checkmate, atheists.
