I'd be interested to hear from people booing Gray all game about what the thought process was there exactly. Happy to be corrected if I've missed something but as far as I can tell, the worst you can really say about him is that he wasn't a particularly great or consistent player for us. I'm not sure the default treatment for former players should be booing but even if it is, he played a (small) part in our greatest ever achievement and did come up with some moments for us, most obviously away at Cardiff. Cheering him going down injured and singing about him being ****ing shit seemed a bit weird to me. Again, if there's a good reason for it (i.e. not "thinks he's better than he is", "looks moody") then do tell.

I didn't boo myself but I would assume a lot of it was down to him throwing his toys out the pram when he was on the bench a lot then stinking up the place when he did play. Struggle to boo someone involved in 15/16.

Lad made out he had a career ending injury waving for help then got back up and played on

he was an early adopter of the “I’m too good for this place” attitude we have in this squad. Completely average player with delusions of grandeur 

Another who had a half decent game every 5 or 6 but thought he was messi

Anyone booing gray was very odd. Least was consistent with his form here though, thought booing meant inevitable goal but just turned him into shrinking violet

Yeah can't say I was a fan of the catcalling of him.

 

Don't recall him ever slagging us off in the press, or refusing to play 👀

 

Fair play to him. He clapped us at the end, would have been easy to go straight down the tunnel given the stick he was getting.

Steve Claridge appointed boss of Weymouth ( for the 3rd time) :) . His appointment caused some trouble and the chairman has stood down lol . As i live down here now i might pop down and thank him for that wembley goal lol

Danny Ward got stretched off at the end of the Wrexham game against Millwall.

 

Knocked out and dislocated elbow apparently. 


Kept his first clean sheet as well.

Maybe that was the point. Just like when Chilwell got booed. I don't agree with it but players that play fold after a bit of stick from the crowd have a bit of a target on their back.

It was a typical Gray performance, a lot of the ball and no end product. Surprised by how loud the songs against him were, though.

 

To think we had a manager who thought he was a viable alternative to Jamie Vardy...
