Circumcision

I'm sorry but the documentary on BBC was bullshit, no child should have it's bits chopped because just religion says so, the child choose when it is old enough.

Please discuss

I personally believe no religion should be forced on a child at all and religious schools should be banned.

Especially for kids under 11. It's just a brain washing exercise really which prevents social cohesion and critical thinking.

Personally against it, I find it odd that at such a time when there has been massive blowback over FGM, boys getting their turtleneck snipped seems to remain completely acceptable.

Strange world we live in.

Against it. However Im more against Dr The Singhs spelling. The word is Circumcision. Now if you have purposely chopped off some letters in solidarity to bits being chopped off these kids then you deserve a trophy!! LOL

It might be if they do a graft to reverse the circumcision when you're older.

This thread is what happens when you lock the politics chats.

Of all the bits to cut off....

They don't cut out the appendix or lop off an earlobe or something you won't miss.

No siree.  Straight at the pleasure centre.

It's not right.

Where do you think all the Hula Hoops come from?

Seriously, guys, I will accept all arguments given but to compare it to FGM is ridiculous.

FGM causes lasting physical harm and prevents a woman enjoying sex; it is also the ultimate demonstration of misogynistic male domination. Circumcision does none of those things.

I'm generally in agreement that it shouldn't be forced on a child.

But comparing circumcision to FGM is like comparing piercing a toddler's ear (also weird btw) to lobbing it off and deafening them.

Personally I would make it compulsory for all Football Agents without anesthetic.

Agree, though may I suggest doing it at the other end.

Why would anyone want to lose half their nob I don’t know.

That's a lot of foreskin! Either that or the dicks in your vicinity are smaller than average.

Warning in order to avoid a possible ban: Meant tongue-in-cheek, not to be taken overly seriously. Thank you and good day to you, sir.

Someone on Twitter did a brilliant stunt a year or so ago.

She posted pictures of her young baby  with her ears pierced and she was absolutely bollocked by the Twitter 'police'. 2 days later she replied with the original image showing the earings had been photoshopped in and that if this got such an uproar and attention, why is circumcision of babies allowed and not questioned.
