Confirmation the fee was below 30m pounds (26m) in fact.....

I'll take it! A lot of people that hung their hat on the 16 million figure must be feeling like silly billys now.

Exactly, but that doesn’t help push the ‘we all must hate Perez and he’s a waste of money’ narrative. You’re meant to go along with it like everyone else:rolleyes::facepalm:

Be weird to hate the fella for not being good enough. It's not his fault, Rodgers is the one that's hanging him out to dry every week.

People live a scape goat on here. He’s been part of a team that has finished in our 2 2nd highest finishes in the premier league era and won the FA cup(which he played a vital role in the goal). He can be frustrating but no where near as bad as some make out.

he was the worst player in the side and if we had a right sided player who could score between 5 and 8 goals a season we would all probability be playing in the Champions League. We're not looking for prime Arjen Robben just someone who can do their job.

As for the goal ion the FA Cup final, come on man. Tielemans has belted in a 35 yard screamer and your looking at a handball on the halfway line. It's deranged.

Why? As been pointed out Just because he had a €30 million buy out clause doesn’t mean we actually paid that

Deranged, ha!

if he hadn’t have blocked the ball. It wouldn’t have ended up with youri.

my point was he’s not as bad as people make out. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be doing better and we can’t do better.

the champions league thing, I’d argue that the reason we didn’t qualify is we couldn’t defend corners.

Not as silly as someone still banging on about it 3 seasons later..........

Its just very easy to blame Ayoze, he doesn't assist enough, he doesn't score enough were he a winger or wide attacker which he isn`t in my opinion.

No idea what he is mind, maybe a wide advanced midfielder? Brought in for his work rate?

Have to laugh at people now blaming him for missing out on CL   lol lol

If he wants to go to Napoli I will drive the lad there, absolutely stealing a living.

You won't be allowed to do that. Club organised flights only to Napoli.

I'm pretty convinced there is a high level conspiracy against him.

I'm suprised a count down timer has not been attached to the header of this Perez thread. He's almost done with his suspension and must be licking his lips to slot right back into his & Roger's favorite position lol. I'm sure many on here must be having heart palpitations as we get closer. Are we all gonna sing his name to welcome him back? Probably not.

It would be interesting to know how many we conceded from corners above the average and how many points that cost us.  I think it will be less than you think.

I have tried to find the stats but failed.  Does anybody know?

I did find some other interesting stats along the way though.  For instance, not only is Jamie Vardy our top PL goalscorer (120) but he is also our top PL assister (39) ahead of Steve Guppy (34) and in third place Marc Albrighton has overtaken Riyad Mahrez for assists with 32 (against 27).

As you were.
