HighPeakFox Posted 14 April 2022 Posted 14 April 2022 He only got on due to a contractual obligation... 4
The Horse's Mouth Posted 14 April 2022 Posted 14 April 2022 I've slagged this lad off rotten but he stepped up today, does have a knack for big moments like the cheeky handball to Tilly in the final as well 2 1

Popular Post shiv Posted 14 April 2022 Popular Post Posted 14 April 2022 People have short memories here. We’ve played some of our best ever football with him in the starting XI. Very clever player - only him, Madders and Kelechi provide the link up play between midfield and attack IMO. Great cameo and probably saved our season. 23 2
urban fox Posted 14 April 2022 Posted 14 April 2022 We always look more fluid down the right when he and ricci combine, and whilst his tracking back is good, he lacks the grit of say an Albrighton. that said, he was outstanding and made the difference tonight. Maybe he could be a good squad player and impact sub to hold onto. If we do offload, performances like tonight will only enhance any potential fee we might get for him. 1

fuchsntf Posted 14 April 2022 Posted 14 April 2022 Using this thread purposely.....You lot wait for Barnes to turn it around..
Guest Umbungo78 Posted 14 April 2022 Posted 14 April 2022 We look better with him in the team, we always seem to find a way to get a goal
Suzie the Fox Posted 14 April 2022 Posted 14 April 2022 His cameos have been great of late, cannot recall a single time he has been subbed on this season where he hasn't improved the team. 1
Genesis1 Posted 14 April 2022 Posted 14 April 2022 Strange to see where it all went wrong for him. He had a pretty good first season then Rogers just stopped playing him.

He had a pretty good first season then Rogers just stopped playing him. Cos he cost us in several games last season. He was poor, ineffective and added nothing to the team. In fact he made a negative impact in so many games. The occasional positive contribution from him was rare. He might have been a highlight player in a shite Newcastle team, but what does that tell you? I like him but I have little faith in him as a regular starter. Did well tonight, though.
enmac Posted 14 April 2022 Posted 14 April 2022 After watching this, anyone who lambasts Ayoze, have a word with yourself. 2 1

Bptiger Posted 15 April 2022 Posted 15 April 2022 The best minutes he has played in the last 3 odd years , now watch him return to his useless self next game
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 15 April 2022 Posted 15 April 2022 When did he last get on the pitch before last night? Unless he's made a cameo I'm forgetting it's been literally months, hasn't it? Fair play he changed the game. 1

No way does he step up to that level without being in it every day. Well done Ayoze. Yeah tbf as great as it is in moments like that it'd be nice if two thirds of the squad wasn't injured all year.

supernuk Posted 15 April 2022 Posted 15 April 2022 Probably worth starting him against Newcastle and giving Maddison a well deserved rest. 2
Vindaloo FOX Posted 15 April 2022 Posted 15 April 2022 Good game, hopefully some scouts were watching and we can sell him in the summer.
Fox92 Posted 15 April 2022 Posted 15 April 2022 Always said his control and footwork with the ball is good. Plus when he came on yesterday he thought about it! First time all game a "winger" (he's not a winger, mind) thought about it. 1

tsintskaro Posted 15 April 2022 Posted 15 April 2022 He should be playing closer to goal and not on the fricking wing maybe let him play behind the striker in 4-2-3-1 this sunday
Popular Post trabuch Posted 15 April 2022 Popular Post Posted 15 April 2022 I thought he was brilliant yesterday. Another player with a first class attitude. 7
