Wilfred Ndidi

Bit lost in the shuffle, but the way he ran down Mahrez after a Ricardo error following a corner was amazing. To have that pace in the second half to force a shot wide was remarkable. He's easily one of the most underappreciated players we have, and we all appreciate him quite a bit!

Looking forward to losing Lookman for AFCON then?

He has not even played for Nigeria yet has he?

I was more thinking about Lookman joining the Kel & Wilf tag team and bust some rhymes on the carpool gaining some happiness and performing on the pitch. :)

His switch to play for Nigeria has reportedly recently been sanctioned by FIFA

For me, he's the most important player at the club, and one that we should put the highest price on.....

But is nobody else excited at the prospect of him getting some rest this year?

I'm hoping Rodgers is brave enough to rest him, against lesser teams, especially at home.

Against the likes of a Norwich/Watford/Burnley, I'd rather us play a 3 of Soumare/Tielemans/KDH.

If we're as good as we say we are/want to be, we have to be playing more progressively against those sides.

Nigerian outlets reporting that Wilf is INJURED (and likely out for two weeks).

He is not listed in the Nigerian squad for the WC qualifiers over the October international break.
