My guess is that both sides are waiting for his England debut. "England internationals" get a bump, and it makes a bigger splash when announced "Madsison signs new deal" is not as snazzy as "Maddison pledges future to Foxes after England debut"

Beautiful goal. Leno was beaten from the moment it left his foot. 

 

Tough for him (and Tielemans) in the first half because how defensive Arsenal were but stepped it up in 2nd half. Very good performance and took the goal well.

genuinely a sensation of a footballer. could see some signs at norwich, could see some potential last year. he’s now genuinely one of the best handful of players in the league for me.

Never mind a token few minutes to cap tie him  if he doesn’t get a start this international break he should be fuming!!!! Not sure what else he has to do. Has proven he’s not just a playmaker but can play in central midfield too after Southgate said that’s why he can’t work his way into the team. 
 

His work rate has improved ten fold this season and maybe a criticism last season was that he didn’t turn up and contribute against the big boys. Goals against Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham this season and assist vs Chelsea. 

 

Add to this he’s a genuine threat from set pieces and long range he surely can’t be ignored any longer

Has taken his performance to the next level this season. Was impressive last but the progress he has made this season has been brilliant. I love how he can just dictate games now, fantastic player.
