Can't ignore what he did do because of that though

And similarly we shouldn't gloss over his mistakes because he was involved in two goals.

Gray is not a bad footballer. I want to give him a shake sometimes though. Wish he'd scored, it wouldn't do him any harm.

He looked so dangerous at times, but he rarely capitalises on fabulous opportunities. I can see why managers persevere, but boy is he frustrating.

Good performance but we should have been out of sight after an hour... All of our wingers need to be a lot more clinical, it’ll make the difference between a great season and a decent season.

Very true but I also wouldn't fancy Liverpool over 2 legs either or in a 1 off final. Wish them bastards had been kicked out for fielding that ineligible player.

Liverpool don't worry me as much as Man City. They don't seem to prioritise this cup as much as Man city and play a lot of youth players in it. This year especially as they will be playing in the world club cup too.

He hasn't got it. I know that this sounds harsh and hard nosed but it is borne out of seeing loads of similar players.

He's quick and physically impressive but he hasn't got what it takes to cut it at the highest level.

He did look OK against a tired Burton side, but even now we're talking about him missing opportunities and not quite making it.

He needs to go to a championship club and reassess.

Little bit harsh. Kept running and made some good runs but the final ball was not great. His first start and scored. What more did you want?

Needs to give a lot more than tonight! Rodgers was giving him a bollocking shortly before hauling him off. Not good enough and seemingly still not committed enough still.

Liverpool will have 8 games  in 25 days in December including champions league and world club ( Same week as Carabao is scheduled)

Whoever gets them will be playing the reserves......

Pleased for Gray. If anyone can get him to realise his talent it's Brendan. Thought he was good tonight.

It's really easy realising my talent, especially when I where zip jeans rather then button fly......may work for Gray?

WE will get Everton in the quarters hopefully at home

Would be an easier match than Colchester

Albrighton's end product was abysmal today, I wonder if he's losing confidence due to barely playing.

...I really felt we should have replaced him at half time for Barnes!!!

He was really poor and I can not believe he played so poorly. Got into great positions and made poor decisions, time and time again. So not like him, the fact he has to prove himself again, to a new manager, might just be wearing him down.
