Wish he'd scored, it wouldn't do him any harm. He looked so dangerous at times, but he rarely capitalises on fabulous opportunities. I can see why managers persevere, but boy is he frustrating.

Wish them bastards had been kicked out for fielding that ineligible player. Liverpool don't worry me as much as Man City. They don't seem to prioritise this cup as much as Man city and play a lot of youth players in it. This year especially as they will be playing in the world club cup too.

I can see why managers persevere, but boy is he frustrating. He hasn't got it. I know that this sounds harsh and hard nosed but it is borne out of seeing loads of similar players. He's quick and physically impressive but he hasn't got what it takes to cut it at the highest level. He did look OK against a tired Burton side, but even now we're talking about him missing opportunities and not quite making it. He needs to go to a championship club and reassess.

His first start and scored. What more did you want? Needs to give a lot more than tonight! Rodgers was giving him a bollocking shortly before hauling him off. Not good enough and seemingly still not committed enough still.

Bob Weasel Fox Posted 29 October 2019 Posted 29 October 2019 Just glad to get through to the next round up the Foxes
TheSomersetFox Posted 29 October 2019 Posted 29 October 2019 Good fun that was. Could and should have scored 5 or 6 but more than happy to take the win. Job done. Gray bright but equally frustrating. Tielemans classy.
Reg Vardy Posted 29 October 2019 Posted 29 October 2019 Liverpool will have 8 games in 25 days in December including champions league and world club ( Same week as Carabao is scheduled) Whoever gets them will be playing the reserves......
Tielemans63 Posted 29 October 2019 Posted 29 October 2019 Pleased for Gray. If anyone can get him to realise his talent it's Brendan. Thought he was good tonight.

FoxFossil Posted 29 October 2019 Posted 29 October 2019 Shooting detention for the second string after school for a week. Don't we have a striker coach after Kevin Phillips left?

It's really easy realising my talent, especially when I where zip jeans rather then button fly......may work for Gray?

He was really poor and I can not believe he played so poorly. Got into great positions and made poor decisions, time and time again. So not like him, the fact he has to prove himself again, to a new manager, might just be wearing him down.
