fuchsntf Posted 9 November 2019 Posted 9 November 2019 Softly Softly catchee monkey...!!! 26 games left, still a long season.. A draw. Both sides dropping points!!
ceredigion Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 I want to see a Man City win. 1-0 to them is the result which best suits us.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Man City to beat them, I can't stand those bastards.
Deeg67 Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 We're not catching both of them in a million years, but we're sitting second and you have to be ambitious - you have to root for a draw.
Vardinio'sCat Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 A draw. Those who let their visceral hatred of Liverpool cloud their priorities need to get a grip, what's best for LCFC is what counts.
Hack Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 A draw. Puts us Man City and Chelsea on the same points total and keeps Liverpool only 2 games ahead.
lee7 Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Man City win. I'm hoping if they lose for the first time it'll start a string of bad results for Liverpool.

A draw is almost equal to a Man City win - both “challengers’ dropping two points is better than one winning and won losing. Draws cost you over the season more than alternate wins and losses.
theboyC Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Man city Win ! The more points Liverpool get the harder it will be to catch them. We are better off being 2 points behind Man City.
Mythyaar Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 100% City win. We would never hear the last of it if the divers won the prem.
st albans fox Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 You would always say draw in these situations but given that we have to play Man City twice, a victory for them means we have a better chance of catching both of them .....a liverpool victory is bad for everyone
Ric Flair Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 0-0 and a 22 man brawl after VAR over turns the best goal ever scored in the history of football by Salah and sends KDB off for blowing a kiss at Henderson. Big points deduction for both teams, Klopp and Pep banned for a year from match day duties.
Stoopid Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Even though it knocks us down a place, like to see a Man City win. It keeps the top 2 in reach and, more importantly, punctures the Scouser's sense of invulnerability - esp at home. We are genuine contenders for the title this year, there is no doubt in my mind!
FoxFossil Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Man City win 7-0 to damage Liverpool goal difference and confidence. Mane sent off for repeated diving. Clopp falls over whilst doing his stupid pitch side dance.
Xen Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Man City win. Can't stand Liverpool and they've been riding their luck in more than a few fixtures this season. We still have Man City to play in the first half of the season, so whilst they would go ahead of us as it stands we could claw that back in a single game. Keeps both of them within touching distance. Preferably a few red cards thrown in for good measure, too. Preferably Mané getting a second yellow for diving; even better if its a dodgy VAR decision and one of the few times where he doesnt dive.
Nicolo Barella Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Assuming we finish in CL places, there's not much difference between 4th and 2nd to me, so the result that gives us most chance of winning the whole thing, unlilely as it is. Man City win please.
Corky Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Draw or Man City win. Still think the title is beyond us and the gap to 5th most crucial but, come on, we've loving football again. Our job is to dream
Wymsey Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Draw. Back in 2008, wasn't expecting this to be a thread question on Foxestalk 11 years later..

I agree, not a scouser lover
HighPeakFox Posted 10 November 2019 Posted 10 November 2019 Any result works for us in some way, so will continue to feel smug, whatever.
