Not knowing how to react to the Wigan pressing after the umpteenth time seemed a bit lacklustre. Slight concern about Morgan and Benkovic - probably the incentive to chase after a new centre-back this month. Into the next round we go.

RowlattsFox Posted 4 January 2020 Posted 4 January 2020 Rubbish but we're through without too much fuss. Shame to lose Morgan and Benkovic, hopefully the latter isn't too bad because he didn't look too uncomfortable going off. Leaves us very short now. Flat performance and atmosphere with on intensity at all. The injuries probably make the back 3 unlikely against Villa so it will be between Gray and Barnes to play and I think Barnes earned a starting spot. Job done.
