Win the game then enjoy the break. I think we all need some time off, so many games recently, a few poor performances and this place is becoming bitty and niggly again.

 

Hopefully they'll have frustrations to take out.

**** knows where to start - I don’t think I can stomach this so god knows how the players must be feeling. If Lampard has anything about himself as a manager he’ll have his players right up for this. 
 

The most comforting thing in the world for me would be to see a reaction from our boys. If we just crumble and we look affected on Saturday (not being an almighty doom-monger here) I’d be worried tonight’s result as hit them very hard and February is the biggest month of the season so far, arguably. 
 

Time for Rodgers to properly manage this football club after a massive set back. I have faith he can pick the lads up.

Hope to see a gutsy response to tonight’s adversity but I worry about the flimsiness - mentally and physically- of a number of our players (Perez, Barnes, Maddison, Chilwell etc). It doesn’t help that two of our toughest - Ndidi and Vardy - are not fully fit.

Be nice to win and extend the gap, whilst a draw would maintain the gap.

 

Just be nice to get a good performance, some kind of result, then regroup and move on.

Agreed. I hope that the lads take the pain from tonight and channel it into a really determined performance.

The team just needed strengthening that's all.

 

Poor management from the scouting team and recruitment.

 

Signings should of been through the door 1st week of jan. We would be better off in the league and going to Wembley if we had prepared better

We will see what character this bunch have, sulk we are getting beat well, show some anger and hurt in the right way, this is a poor Chelsea side by their standards and more than beatable.
