Norwich Post Match Thread

No urgency, no fight, no excuses. These four games were pivotal in our season and we've pissed up the first one. Yes, I think we were unfortunate with the disallowed goal but we had fvck all after that.

This is the type of team I can't stand- the lack of desire and urgency after going behind was pathetic. I can accept mistakes, I can accept them being unfortunate but fvcking hell, give yourself a chance.

Carrying far too many players at the moment. The football we play is horrendous now.

What a horror show. No guts, no ability, what's happening with us? For the first time this season I saw more boys than men in our side. A top 4 candidate looking like a relegation fodder...

Maybe I've been spoilt by the sexy football we used to play earlier this season and forgot what the lowest lows of puelball were like, but **** me, what I saw today was disgraceful. The players need a proper bollocking (majority of them at least) for not turning up, and a loud clear dilly ding dilly ****ing dong in order to wake up from the nightmarish slumber they are in

Officially worried - we can’t and shouldn’t blow this. There are obvious weakness in our team and I don’t see Rogers anything about it☹️

Norwich were awful first half, we could have moved Perez to support nacho and bought Albrighton on for hamza and gone 442 but no, we go sideways sideways until they get a break, and then they sit behind the ball and we play with more urgency, ridiculous tactics from Rogers

Just now, Dames said:

These players aren’t playing for Rodgers anymore in the same way that they stopped playing for Puel and other managers.

Massive culture issue at the club when the players stop performing for managers after a certain amount of time. Unfortunately for Rodgers the slide has started for him and if history repeats just like other managers he will not be able to arrest the slide and will be out of a job by years end

Absolute facking jibberish.

We're on a run where we can't buy a win. It's entirely normal.

If a team as facking shite as Norwich can win, anyone can.

back to reality, Brendan now seeming as clueless as Puel.... where is his plan B...

he had an extended new manager bounce of 25 games, now the football is as poor as ever... seems so stuborn

We seem too static up front. Not enough runners giving incisive options. Because of the lack of that we are playing Puel keep ball with no teeth. We HAD teeth. Where have they gone?!

Very disappointing. Lack of fight and hunger in the end. Didn't even look like wanting to get back in to the game and that's the worrying thing..

Where's the fight in the players gone?

Rodgers needs to have some stern words with some of these players.

Chilwell's defending for the goal reminded me of Gray against Villa. No focus, commitment, concentration or anything. Just a whimper.

Far too many passengers in the squad. The other worrying thing is that Norwich barely looked good but we've given them that 3 points without making them work for it.

Players need a kick up the arse after that performance tonight. Even if last couple of months were underwhelming, tonight just epitomised it.

The problem is we may end up with no Europe at all if we don’t start picking up wins plenty of teams catching us up. 9 points can go to 6 over the weekend next 3 games are massive and With the teams fighting relegation they are not going to be easy and if they go 1-0 up at any point in the game we are done for.

Make no mistake we should have done better throughout the entire match but as much as I'm for the idea of VAR we've been absolutely, vilely raped by the brain donors at Stockley Park this month.

We’ve been awful now for 50% more of the season than we were very good. At what point do we accept that we are a poor team that has stumbled it’s way into the top 4 rather than a great team on a bad run?

Been saying it for a few weeks and getting slaughtered for it but Rodgers does not know how to change a game Midway through. Couple of different Liverpool supporters told me that at the beginning of the season. I now believe they were right.

Players need to take responsibility.

Simply not enough desire, far too passive.

Manager is responsible for not doing something sooner; players taking the piss, it seems they think they don’t have to play flat out until we go behind.

Rogers : grasp the nettle and stop picking Chilwell and Perez ffs.
