Apparently the BBC are getting 4 games. I’d of told them not to bother lol  Presume BT are getting the rest

Yeah so do I but feel like they’ve been shafted only getting 4. You know they’ll be games like Palace v Burnley as well don’t you.

Andy Townsend's Tactics Truck remains in mothballs  :nono:

Can’t beat a bit of Hoddle. Remember Diers goal in the euros I think it was, ‘yeah it’s a good goal but not perfect, he could of put it more in the top corner for me’

lol think I got 30 minutes into 1 match before I realised I either didn't like German football or possibly didn't even like football full-stop but just enjoyed crowd noises

I am terrified of going off football, should crowds not be able to return for another year or whatever. Hope there's a red-button option for piped in cheering or such, or at very least the commentators going absolutely mental for throw-ins and standard tackles let alone goals

I was watching Dusseldorf vs. Schalke and they were doing exactly that. It was kind of cringe. :nigel:

5 substitutions, definitely think it’s needed due to the schedule. However, this will definitely favour the larger teams in the league like the Man City’s etc. Imagine the rotation and the subs that will be on their bench that are now able to both come on during the games and play the next games for rotation. Now compare that to The likes of Norwich

With no crowds needing to "make the train" or "beat the traffic", I expect referees to add on every second wasted for substitutes and deadball situations.

It'll never happen, of course. :plancque:

If I remember correctly, he said a missed penalty by Kane was a 'good miss' lol

Because the games are behind closed doors, they should bring back the old fan commentary. Inject some passion and banter.

Next season, Leicester v Leeds part 2.

As much as I dislike Sky, this is their contractural domain and without them getting their bread buttered every club would be requiring to pay back a huge rebate.

I suspect they were exclusively contracted for 39 more games before Covid-19 (9 matchdays left meaninh 4 games per weekend which fits with their traditional schudule) and the other twenty five were not part of their original contract hence they are FTA.

Didn't consider the monetary value for clubs, assume that is the case then. Just sad many will potentially miss out on their teams games

Which for me, won’t really matter as the teams that Norwich are competing with to stay up all have similar sized squads.

Dislike how over half of these games aren't free to view; they're planning to scoop in the money on subscriptions from the ticket and season ticket refunds I imagine. Tactic once again that sums up the state football.

In normal circumstances, half of these games wouldn’t even be on tv.

I'm just glad ITV don't get a chance to make a mess of things.

Whenever an important England match rolls over to channel 3 they ITV the **** out of it. Having Simon Cowell, Holly Willoughby and Keith Lemon deliver a message of good luck to England before the Colombia game in 2018 was peak ITVication of the national sport, nauseating stuff.
