I say this because our destiny this season is still very much in our own hands and it is in such circumstances in the past that our spirit has produced truly defining moments. We’ve been here before – when others feel we are faltering, that we can’t stay the distance, that we are vulnerable – and we have responded. It’s a time for courage, for unity and for belief. Three games for us to earn a finishing position of which we are worthy.

Agreed Top!

OK, I'm back on the bus. I shall be sending Uri Gella style telepathic vibes to the players tonight. Focus, concentrate everybody. We are going to do it.

Or summat.

The man knows how to motivate his troops. Get him in the dressing room at half-time.

Edit: I just love the wonderful mix of aknowledgement and warning. So much for the "but, but, we're fourth" or "6th is still a good result"...

Top is brilliant! Basically telling us to stop being so negative and help the team over the line, yet written in such a way you can't help but get on board. Right you are Top. We live you Leicester we do!!

Superb to be fair. Exactly what I wanted from Brendan after the Bournemouth game, that's proper leadership.

Acknowledges that we put ourselves in a position where we should be achieving a top 4 finish this season but also telling the players, staff and fans that he has belief that we can do it.

What a man.

He's got to be in the running to replace the Queen when she pegs it

It is indeed odd that BR and the Team are being crucified for over achieving in the first half of the season. ‘IF’ we achieve a Europa League spot, personally I will be delighted.  I do not consider we are ready for the UCL with this squad.    The Bournemouth game was a freak experience and a very bad one for all of us. Long time Foxes fans have been there before -several times. The lock down and injuries have not helped us, but we are not alone as a Club there.

Stay positive and accept being a Foxes fan is not an easy affliction.

A very mature approach in that response and totally agree with this, being 4th in the league is exceptional for us no doubt... and had we not been occupying a position higher all season and actually come to this position from being behind, we would all be patting ourselves on the backs and say "Job well done", but the landscape changed, and thus our expectations change with that. Yes, league position now and potentially where we finish will still be an improvement and a step in the right direction... but throwing away what could have been is totally disappointing, so we're right to feel this way too!

Just have to try and stay positive, what will be, will be... whatever happens, we have to build on from there!
