There is no alternative- they can't work from home, work remotely etc, if they are unable to play matches get cancelled. It's not necessarily them being held to a higher account (though the profile does dictate it) but the practicalities of their actions and the outcome. Of course, you could get this virus from other household members going to work, school, college but willfully meeting up and mixing just increases the risk. Incredible. Also, weird that no-one ever seems to remember that Bielsa's teams routinely fade away in the latter part of the season as they can't sustain that mad intensity for a whole season. The manager wouldn't have been up for Manager of the year or whatever ridiculous award Bielsa was up for, and people wouldn't be blowing smoke up their arse constantly. I also have some dispute in the fact that Bielsa has come in and turned a bunch of no hopers in the Championship in to world beaters. Yes, there are players he has improved like Ayling and Cooper which is admirable but he's also signed the likes of Hernandez, Bamford and Costa who were ridiculously good at that level. What is it he has actually done other than taking a big club to the Premier League? The government are making special compensation on the basis that they stick to the rules.
