I think you'd have to be very very naive to think that certain teams don't get favoured. VAR has just helped highlight what we already knew. 'Whatever good for the brand'.

I actually feel for the Southampton fans. Those results hurt! I bet many can remember what it felt like when we got dicked by Portsmouth all those years ago - but that wasn’t even 9-0.

Stupid thing is, the double jeopardy rule wasn't brought in to pick up incidences like that. It's a yellow at most.

I can't imagine what is happening in Ralph Hasenhüttl's head. Imagine having to go into an interview after a 9-0 defeat and not even being able to trot out the 'this has never happened to me before' line.

They're talking about how shit VAR is but noone has the bollocks to say that Martial is cheating. Until then we'll continue to get the "there was contact" bullshit.
