Got all the attributes and personality to be one of the top European centre halves. Seriously. IF he can kick on again this coming season he could easily play for Barca.

And they still won't be able to afford him!

Mahrez + Maguire, divided by Kante and multiply that by Drinkwater. The answer is Chilwell squared.

Maddison divided by Chilwell. :(

Maddison is not divisible by Chilwell.

Well (hence forth known simply as) Dirty Ben, seems keen to try new things, thereby rendering the division unavoidable

We should just change our tune a little.

Any player of ours is £80 mill just to start a discussion on possibly thinking about a transfer. Ridiculous,  yes but we cant have big clubs buying our best to keep us fron being one of the top 6 or so.

Come for big wes!

Relying on the fact thay Soyuncu has another solid season with us, plus the fact that he'll be watched when we play in Europe, I would imagine that he'll be next years big sale unless we do something miraculous this year.

This coming season is starting to feel like it could be the turning point in us making the next step. Fall short and our plans of sign small and make one big sale a year could come undone. I hate to say it but I think Vardy has one good season left in him, Soyuncu, Maddison and Ndidi are being touted to some of the biggest clubs in Europe, you could add Ricardo to that list too. A good showing in Europe is a must with another decent league position to show we are an attractive proposition to future transfers. If not, we could see more then one big sale and we find ourselves in a Southampton type situation.

For now though, I can't see us selling 2 of our back 4, unless PSG come in with one of their ridiculous bids

We seem to be a selling club going steadily backwards.

To see our first choice left back and England’s who comes from the City having developed with the academy is sad however this is different to some of the other sales - our manager was happy to sanction this sale as he believes we can do better with the funds. Anyone who has watched BC week in and week out knows he cannot defend and despite his attacking strengths his final ball needs improvement. He could go on and become world class but it will be down to Chelsea to make that happen as he has lots of potential but it’s no guarantee. If we get £60m+ for him now we will hopefully improve two positions and move forward again.

Our football club is definitely not going backwards - look at what is happening expansion of the ground, new training facilities, European football. A model which attracts top talent even if we sell some on afterwards it means we are competing at the top table - the step to get there and stay there is a huge leap but to say we are going backwards is complete drivel.
