Seen that. Hint that a new contract extension is imminent?

Hopefully. Might just be a brag that he could walk into just about any team and is probably the best player we've ever had.

Some of his passes are absolute football pornography. The great thing is that the rest of the team are switched on to what he can do. Watch castagne for the first goal Sunday. as soon as he lays that ball off, he is off, pointing where he wants it, the ball gets worked to Youri and he delivers it on a plate straight through the defenders.

Having someone who can do that whenever they like gives the rest of the team the confidence and freedom to make the runs in behind. If there was a table for the most assists to the assister, Youri would be miles ahead of the field

Once again, absolutely no right to find Iheanacho with that pass for the first lol

I don't even know how we replace this footballing God when he decides to leave.

Love you Youri!

I have to say I felt he was quite poor tonight, by his standards! He gave the ball away a lot, especially in the first half. But he is still the most important member of the team IMO, he gets us ticking over and that first goal was down to him.

But it says it all that Tielemans at 6/10 can still win us the game.

Didn’t help that the ref let Palace batter and bully him so much

And not even at his scintillating best tonight. The lads a freak with the amount of football he's played this season and the standard he's set

He did have a few sloppy passes but he was still fantastic in the middle. Love how quickly he looks to shift the ball.

He certainly isn’t slowing down, despite the amount of football he has played, a lot of his great stuff goes unnoticed for how important it is for the team

Yeah I felt their goal could even have been called back for a foul on him. Actually teams are starting to get smart to this, West Ham did the same - bully Youri and you can stop Leicester from playing.

Don't worry though, he will develop the ability to play his way out of those bully boys. He does it quite a bit already, and will only improve with more time. For me he is a clear player of the season because he has been consistent throughout. JJ, Barnes and now Nacho have also been electric at times, but he's been class from game 1 to game 33.

I think how easily he was pushed off the ball was more egregious than his sloppy passing tonight.

Actually think when Perez came on the pitch for Maddison that it took some of the burden off Youri.

Maddison just not up to speed yet and seems slow and ponderous with the ball. Seems like this gives the other team more time to press and makes it easier to defend against us.

I had to listen to the game on Five Live and Karen Carney was saying having Perez rather than Maddison in that position allowed Youri to push further forward too which had a big effect.

Think the only shot on goal that Youri had was when Perez was on the pitch. Pretty amazing the difference in Tielemans from his loan as more of an attacking mid to now as a deep lying playmaker. Amazing versatility.

I hope that dipstick isn't trolling . This is what we've all been waiting for (apart from the inevitable bit where his form turns to crap before the ink is dry on the new contract)

Youre has had an amazing season so far considering all that has happened. I do like that he's trying to get goals too when the chances come. He's put in so much effort we can allow for the moments he's been off. What a great player he's turning into and will be even better next season. Future captain material.
