Trump supporters gonna be like Leeds United fans for the next fifty years ain't they, banging on about how they won this election.

No chance. With the average attention span of modern humans being about 5 nanoseconds, I doubt they will remember who Trump is/was in four years time...

Still saying this election is the best advertisement ever for Test Match Cricket to the yanks

Haha I know right I've seen this comment so many times and it's pretty true. Generally people mean it in the sense of watching something waiting days for a result. But the way they're all over social media trying to calculate required vote rates and everything, haha.

That seems to be what he's aiming for. (Trump - with his speech, I mean)

It's been coming for a long time before Trump. He didn't become president by chance. He connected with a lot of angry frustrated people who are free falling through our corrupt corporate government and economic systems. With Covd on top of that they have no where to go. They are not going to crawl under a rock and die. This is more than just Trump and we will see a faster disintegration of the government from here on out. They will probably start a war soon to unify the country. I hope we get spanked good. I'm out.

Question:

If Biden wins Georgia and Trump wins the rest it will be a draw at 269 each.

What happens then?

Endless recounts

but seriously

What happens if it's a tie?

There are 538 electoral votes up for grabs, with a fixed number of electors representing each state based roughly on the size of its population.

This means a draw is possible at 269 votes each, although very unlikely.

If no candidate gains a majority of votes in the electoral college, it would be over to the US Congress to decide.

It would be the members of Congress elected in the 2020 elections who would take on this responsibility.

The House of Representatives would vote to decide the president, with each state delegation having one vote - a majority of 26 is needed for a candidate to become president.

The Senate would choose the vice-president, with all 100 senators having a vote.

I'm starting to think Kanye won Nevada and they just don't know how to tell us yet

This made me legitimately laugh out loud. The mental image of a bunch of suits in a room for 3 days going over the same thing....

Suit 1:"We have to tell them guys...."

Suit 2:"Absolutely not. We just cant"

Suit 3:"But we have to do it"

Suit 1:"You do it then cause I'm not"

Everyone together: "NOT IT!"

The CNN coverage has been sensational. John King is an absolute encyclopaedia, even after probably not sleeping for 72 hours.

Bannon has had his vlog twitter account suspended after posting saying that Fauci and the FBI director should be beheaded and have their heads mounted on spikes at the White House as a warning.

Jesus.

Interesting strategy to call out the FBI Director.

Worth noting Boris Johnson has employed this man to consult on strategy.

Steve Bannon? He seems a sensible centralist figure without an axe to grind
