You're ignoring the likelihood that if we focused on less intense training but concentrated much more on specific exercises to strengthen the lower body joints and to make them more supple and flexible then the legs would be better able to withstand bad tackles and unbalanced landings.

I'm only going off hearsay on here but it's been consistently, and strongly, rumoured on here that training is very intensive.

If you look, for example, at the ridiculous frequency with which hamstring injuries are occurring.  It's well accepted that footballers' hamstrings are extremely tight and are ripe to be tanged when overstretched.

And to put it down to bad luck ignores the fact that we've had worse injury problems than any other Prem team, it's been going on for 3 years, and is getting worse.

So you have observe a training sessions at LCFC?

Rodgers record at most clubs he's been at is diabolical so he must be very unlucky in the sports science and medical teams he inherits and in Leicesters case, helps put together.

...what if he is utilising the same staff!!!

If the same thing continues to happen, it is more likely that the same people and the same methods are in place.

...I  am sure Rodgers has stated that the training has been scaled down, and it is light training now, due to the amount of games being played in a short space of time!!!

Let’s have a bit of fun. Why isn’t Benkovic playing? Wrong answers only.

Brendan got a little merry at the Celtic Christmas party and gave him a kiss. Would have been fine but Benko’s breath ****ing stank and it was over since then…

During his first season with us, he left a floater in the players’ communal bath at the stadium.

When is any journo going to ask BR the difficult questions on all this?

Was just gonna post this, again.

As @StanSP said earlier, it may just be what Rodgers is being told from the medical staff but Rodgers is the man that is put infront of the media, Rodgers is the man who answers the tough questions, something is wrong, ask the questions.

It’s not a blame game (It is) but I’m genuinely interested how a club at this level can be in such a mess regards injuries, I’m not having they we’ve gone from ‘so lucky’ to ‘so unlucky’.

Whether you can draw parallels (Diagonals?) and point towards the sacking of Rennie (and I’m not saying he’s any kind of messiah), or it’s simply coincidence it is very strange how our fortunes have changed, something stinks and this time it’s not our football.

Also when you add Rodgers past records regarding injuries under his management…people will say I have an agenda and blaming him, it’s hard not to.

Likewise (and this is on the club) we’re in a mess, the narrative being spun is we’re skint but I’m sorry the transfer window is open, there is a way of atleast trying to fix this, otherwise we’re going to be either a) left behind or b) even more skint going forwards.

Baring in mind we gave the players several days off, we've then managed to get KDH, Thomas and Castagne to pick up injuries and Soumare an illness (possibly covid). Its bonkers

Getting ridiculous now.

Are the apparent 'gruelling' training methods largely to blame?

Didn't do the players in the Jock Wallace era any harm

I'm glad everyone is coming round to the fact that this isn't just bad luck anymore. Especially when it's happening to young lads like Thomas and KDH. Vardy is a big worry for me. An injury like that at his age could be the beginning of the end 😔

Brendan will have to go in to the January transfer market and pick up a couple of Southampton players

Seems like Daka and Soyuncu are back for Burnley, what about Thomas and KDH? I presume they aren't being risked for this one rather than anything serious?

Could KDH and Thomas by covid absentees?

Tanner said kdh is a tight calf, Thomas absence seems to be unknown, soumare listed as ill so guessing Thomas isn’t ill. My guess is he’s maybe isolating having not had the jab?
