Blackwell tried in todays presser. I think he's had a complete breakdown and gone AWOL.

So bizarre. I mean if there was a time we needed him to step up, it would be now. Looks like we may never see him play in a Leicester shirt again.

We need an expert in hamstrings and ACLs, not this guy.

From our 17 players currently unavailable only two are offically Hamstring (or ACL) issues apparently. Seems to be linked to Thigh issues. Need an expert to work the difference out.

I wonder if Benkovic's personal issues have been the issue for longer than this weekend?

If this is the case hopefully he’s getting the support he needs.

This year is an utter disaster, complete write off for the season. If we manage to finish anything above 14th I’d actually value it as a success. Players bang out of form, whole squad injured, covid, discontent between the fans in regards to our manager - shocking season.

Better off spending the rest of the year planning for next season to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Whatever has gone wrong this season in regards to injuries needs addressing bigtime.

Could also give the cups a good bash, would definitely prioritise them over the league

It didn't feel like an utter disaster when we were clapping the lads off at the end of the epic last home match. I agree with the sentiment though and it all goes back to that tackle in a pre-season friendly when it was all going so well and it seemed that our injury crisis was behind us.

Things will pick up in the next couple of months, players will be coming back and we'll be seeing the JCB's moving in and scaffolding going up. Plenty of things to be optimistic about

True, it’s unbelievable how one win and three points can transform morale. Roll on next game.

Just need to avoid relegation. I may have previously been critical of Brendan but I think Pep, Klopp and Ferguson combined would struggle with what we've got left!

A point that's just been made to me (Which i'm shocked I hadn't come to the conclusion of);

The style we play, playing it back and forth along the defence, slowly, side to side and backwards, how do you get injuries doing that?!

I mean if we were doing all the running, chasing the opposition, pressing, running forwards, at speed then I could perhaps understand some of the injuries but we're far from that, we 'control the game' (Apparently), we let the opposition do the running and pressing (Apparently).

I don't care what anyone says, we're not high intensity, we play at snails pace, if people claim Rodgers is high intensity in training, well perhaps there is your problem on two counts, 1) We're knackered and have nothing left come match day and 2) Why we're getting so many injuries.

Funnily enough we don’t just move the ball from side to side, do we? Of recent injuries, Vardy was in a chase, Cags was chasing back, Ricky P had his leg broken by an opponent. But don’t let that get in the way of your never ending crusade to criticise everything about LCFC.

You really think an elite manager, with all the resources at his disposal, would let his teams arrive at match day knackered?

Thank you.

Something is seriously amiss and the backroom staff have some questions to answer but let's not resort to mindless slagging off. It's more complicated than that.

Ideally of course not, but going of what we've generally seen in the last 12 months, I'm looking for explanations, reasons, excuses (If you must) and...i've got nothing else.

For the 3 you've given me, I raise you KDH, Thomas and Castagne all of who have emerged injured this week, baring in mind we havn't even played a game for the past week and a half.

By the way when I mention Rodgers name on stuff like this by my own admission I need to start saying 'Management team', it's not Rodgers per se, of course its not, it's medical staff, coaches, e.t.c, they are under an umbrella, Rodgers is the face of it though which is why i've been saying that, but something is amiss, questions need asking (And answering).

Timmy probably shouldn’t have played against Liverpool

he had only played a half at Man City on the back of not training for some time - so it’s safe to assume that he aggravated something which meant he hasn’t really trained since liverpool

KDH and Luke are strange

But we know nothing about their ‘problems’
