What would happen if we only have 8 senior outfield players available due to injuries but no covid cases?

Very good point. The problem for me is that I don't believe a word Rodgers says. I trust @Ric Flair and @Chocolate Teapot to give me a better insight into the club than Rodgers lol

Yep, I think they are being ultra-cautious now with anyone who has any type of issue given the large number of injuries we've had.

I guess we would request a postponement on varying grounds, inc AFCON and league integrity. but given the pressure on getting games played asap, i wouldn't expect we will have a positive response. southampton last season went to old trafford with nine fit first team squad players and got turned over 9-0. (one of the kids got sent off early).

Because they're scared of the backlash the club and/or the players will get from rightly or wrongly going to the darts?

 

As I said in that thread, i've no problems with the lads going to the darts, they've got lives to live and they're living them, however if they were to test positive, what I would have a problem with is games being postponed and the club crying games off.

 

We're all taking calculated/valuated risks, I go to the football, I could catch it there or anywhere I go for that matter and if I do, i'll have to self isolate - without pay and the company I work for will have to get on without me and potentially others should it spread throughout the work place, it's time people took responsibility for themselves and upon themselves.

Blackwell tried in todays presser. I think he's had a complete breakdown and gone AWOL.
