We spent less than 9 other teams this summer. Only one of those teams is currently ahead of us. 
 

We’ve not had our first choice 11 available ONCE this season.

Perversely, it might work in our favour. I think we got to Christmas last time thinking we'd sweep everyone aside. We've beaten better teams, especially away, and have learned a lot in the process on how to beat teams in different ways.

It's so great to see the players bounce back from a result like Everton in this way. Despite moments where we've shat the bed this season it really does feel like we're mentally stronger this season.

So we've been in the top four for 47 out of the last 52 game weeks. No matter how you look at it we are extremely unlucky not to be playing in the champions league.

Its got to the point where it would just be weird to see us in 9th/10 place.

 

We really are the best team in the world to support, being traditionally mediocre but rising to the top and maintaining such a lofty status competing against "big" clubs backed by multi millions.

Fantastic.  Not a city fan anywhere who a few years back wouldn’t have taken that.  Fully accept that we aren’t the finished article and the lads still need to learn, but it’s great, and certain sections of the city support should appreciate it !

I don't think I've ever seen/heard anyone bring his wage into it!
