All the silly, stupid, disappointing, below par performances, against West Ham, Villa, Everton can be put to bed.

We would take them all again to be a clear second to Livarpool, and beginning to pull away in the  top 4.

I am pretty  confidant we can do it, and not alone in this opinion.

Asian forward odds issued in advance of last weekend matches have seen us shorten over 4%, in spite of utd scoring 6

They are a dangerous side, especially away from home, and have players that can turn the game so although I'm not as nervous as I used to be when we play Manchester United they are also a decent side too.

Them playing on Wednesday night could give us a little advantage. It's about the first time this season we are the ones not playing mid week compared to our opponents

Very similar side to Spurs imo, pace and deadly on the break so we need to aim to control the game as we did on Sunday and if we play as well as we did then, I'm confident we'll beat them.

I've been waiting for us to beat these since the 5-3

Come on Leicester you can do it.

Merry Christmas to all

Our city is blue just like.....

Given our erratic home performances, I'd settle for a scrappy 1-0 win.

1-0 with a winner in injury time would be good.

That winner being a Maguire OG in injury time would be better still.

That winner being a Maguire OG in injury time where the ball smacks him in the face and rebounds into the net, like with that Newcastle player, would be absolutely perfect.....hope you can oblige, Harry!

Not sure why this needed it's own thread when there's already a pre match thread but....

We don't need to put anything to bed. We are a young side that's naturally somewhat inconsistent, that's over performing domestically and in Europe despite being ravaged by injuries for most of the season.

In a 90 minute game anything can happen especially against a side with the quality of players of Man United. But win lose or draw this football club is massively moving in the right direction and I'm immensely proud of it.

We've already beaten arsenal, spurs, Man City. Sit 2nd in the league and sailed into the last 32 of Europe. Some fans need to learn to enjoy it and try not to be so reactionary after every game.

Well said mate:appl:

If that happened the ref would dissallow it, VAR would agree and then on Sky Dermott Gallagher would make up the weekly "how we change the rules for the big six" explaining dangerous play from the Leicester player, kicking the ball towards an opponents face, new directive.

We’re capable of it. I just think sometimes we wilt against them because of the name, it’s almost like the players expect to be beaten.

When we’re at full strength we shouldn’t fear any team on the planet, it’s only however when the players truly believe it that we’ll see the consistency that is born from confidence come to the fore.

if you think the angles on VAR decisions are tricky, imagine trying to get those angles perfect :) How to Draw Human Head from Any Angle | Tutorial 3/4 - YouTube

No, no, no. If he’s scoring an own goal it needs to be a rocket into the top corner from about 35 yards while trying to pass it back to the keeper. He'll never live that down and will feature on all Christmas football outtake videos for all eternity. It could be defining for him. He won’t be remembered has harry maguire who played for man u and England. It’ll  be;

‘that bloke who scored a screamer in his own net against Leicester, ........ who did he play for?”

Aye, can't be too greedy.

Then hopefully win at Palace and Newcastle.

We are average roughly 2 points a game, 4-6 pts from those Man U, Palace and Newcastle would be a good Christmas return in my book.
