How boring was that. We need to push higher and get Barnes and Maddison on the ball more. 

 

Why do we give poor teams so much respect?

Newcastle have spent alot of time shit housing it seems to me. Playing injuries etc. We're suffering from not creating enough which we've seen often against teams like this. Second half will be better. I hope.

Not much to show from that half. We have a tendency to either overplay or not move the ball quick enough - already heard Rodgers yell at them not to stop the ball!

 

Think Ünder will come on and terrorise their left hand side though.

We looked to play early through balls at the start which caused Newcastle trouble. But since then, we've reverted to trying to play through them with less time on the ball as they've pressed more. We need quicker passing and better running off the ball. Too lethargic for the last 30 minutes of that half.

They're doing quite well with Barnes so we need to give them more to think about. Under for Albrighton at start of the half then Perez for Maddison. Maddison poor and I think Perez would ask more questions and link up with Vardy better.

Its about tempo, changes of pace in passing and movement.

 

When we are good we play with a high tempo, when we are poor we play with this tempo.

 

Can generally tell which City we are going to see after the first 10 miuntes of a match.

Sadly disappointed with our performance in the first half despite the promising team. Need a Brendan rocket if there is such a thing. We could sleepwalk to a defeat if we are not careful

Similer pattern to the gaems we have lost, loads of ball get hit on the sucker punch. 

Been shouting go forward at the tv most of the half. So frustrating seeing 15 yards of space to run into and we turn back.

Terrible tempo which has allowed Newcastle to get a foothold in the game. 

They will run the clock down, play act and wait for their chance. 

We must get the ball moving a hell of a lot quicker or else we'll feck this up. 

Move Youri further up where hell effect the game more
