Wow what a fantastic move, unsure why no championship sides made a serious effort for him but he’s gonna do so well at Leuven I can feel it.

He struggled to get a game in Scotland and the Championship when he's been out on loan.

Players have come back from worse, although admittedly he is surprisingly 32 now

The legs have well and truly gone I'm afraid. A bit premature especially as it's been obvious for a few years now. Even more surprising given what a model pro he is.

Hopefully can still add some quality in that league.

I don’t think anyone knows what you’re actually getting with King. It’s been so long since he played a competitive game for City that making any confident prediction that s hard.

Hopefully, for both King and Lueven, you get the steady, dependable and occasional big game scoring Andy King. A steady 7/10 every game.

He was doing his coaching badges last summer

If he doesn't play that much for Leuven or makes little impact I could see him joining ours or Leuvens coaching staff when his contract ends

I wouldn't be surprised to see him back in some capacity at the club.

Looking through the comments on his Instagram post and you can see all the players he’s played with wishing him luck, shows how loved he is amongst his professionals.

Glad he’s found a club and hopefully works out for him!

Yeh they all seem to have time for him

Cambiasso, Inler, Defoe etc....along with all the obvious ones.

Some players peak early and some late. He peaked early and played a lot of football at a young age so it's only natural his legs went early. The same has happened to may before and it'll happen to many more in the future.
