Leeds H Post Match Thread

Recommended Posts

Desperate for even semi-capable deputies for Ndidi and Vardy. They're both sensational players but their absences nigh on ruin us.

I can't believe the Under substitution didn't happen sooner.

Kasper and Barnes can take a modicum of credit. Maddison, Perez and Mendy were particularly rotten.

Right- Madders free kicks and corners are absolute rubbish no variation no pace no depth utter garbage ,plenty of chances to take that game and I hate to say it but no intensitee,Surely at some point Brendan changes it we had 20 odd set pieces and absolute zero very poor effort

Their goals were a result of us giving the ball away. To concede from our free kick 20 yeards from their goal is scandalous. The second was a result of a pass straight to their players.

Without doubt the most lacklustre, inept, could not give a feck performance this season.

No desire,

No strength,

No etc etc etc

Leeds were shite and won at a canter.

Garbage!

They can feck right off.

Given up now on us either defending set pieces or attacking them. Rodgers should be dragged out to the media and pressed in this, its ludicrous. Stop the love in and ask him why it's so unbelievably bad, others would be hammered for this.

As for game, no complaints- Leeds by far the better team on the day. Bielsa schooled Rodgers today as we did at Elland Road. Its interesting as we see ourselves as a better team yet in both matches we have to adapt our style to compete, ie, we both play our preferred way, Leeds beat us. We have lots to learn still and hopefully some reality on where were really at currently.

Well those who say we're average without Vardy are looking vindicated today, Wilf was also a massive loss as well. We had enough of the game to win it, but never looked like it. Maddisons set pieces are poor, time to let someone else have a go.

That was shite. Fair play to Leeds, they played like they do and were up for it. Maddison needs to look at himself, thinks he’s made it but very poor today, needs to sort out his set-pieces quickly too. Too many misplaced passes from everyone today, not enough urgency and crap finishing. Only Schmeichel saved us from a really embarrassing score. Brendan needs to sort it out.

So much over reactive tripe coming out in the match thread it's comical.

Leeds played better, they basically did what Leicester of old did, pressured the opposition, and took their chances on the break, go back to a match thread where we did the same and you'll find us heaping praise on ourselves, but Leeds are 'w**k' because of it, typical rose tinted dross.

Not our finest hour, credit to the manager for trying to change it up, we just didn't have the work rate to match them today, and we're lacking in options up top.... simple as that.

Beaten by the better team on the day.

Maddison had a stinker, Perez is good at holding it up but way too lightweight to play up top on his own. We desperately miss Wilf’s height in the middle, Papy is tidy but quite literally 4ft tall.

Thought we looked like winning at the start of the second half, found ourselves in some good positions but made poor decisions.

The set piece situation is getting daft now, teams know they can just boot us because we are SO poor at deliveries.

Under has to start next game for me, he’s dangerous when he’s not blasting it from 40 yards.

On to the next one!

Some embarrassing overreactions on here. I am really disappointed we lost but the personalised attacks leave a bad taste.

Leeds deserved the win because they took their chances and worked hard throughout.

We looked well off the pace after scoring right across the team. Scapegoating players again is the default of some. Yes, there were some poor performances but who really showed up?

We know where we need to strengthen and hopefully we will learn today from that reverse.
