Fox in the North Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Not too bothered about 3 at the back or N’didi playing at the back, just make it count and get the result. And don’t get any injuries!!!
OntarioFox Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Damnit, I had this all lined up as well. Brendan... must be missing an attacking midfielder.
StanSP Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Burnley squad Burnley Starting XI: Pope, Lowton, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, McNeil, Westwood, Cork, Brownhill, Wood, Vydra
Scotch Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 I don't think we will line up like that. Diamond formation would be my bet.
Popular Post AKCJ Posted 3 March 2021 Popular Post Posted 3 March 2021 Be interesting to see if it's 5 at the back or a diamond; Kasper Castagne Amartey Soyuncu Ricardo Ndidi Mendy Hamza Tielemans Iheanacho Vardy Would rip your arm off for a the calmest of 2-0 wins ala Fulham away. 7

Fox42 Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 I just don’t understand why Albrighton and Ünder aren’t playing. No width. 4-2-2-2? Ah well, in Brendan I trust. 1
jmono84 Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Pretty defensive but I like the thought of Ricky P bombing down the wings! Hamza needs to show that confidence and get on the ball, I don’t think he’s got it in him but I’ll still hope he can step up!
EnderbyFox Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Distinct lack of options unfortunately. Only Under & Albrighton as options to change the game again Can't believe these injuries are making me yearn for Ayoze Perez to return to fitness 1
SouthStandUpperTier Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Amartey is more than capable as a CB in a back 4. No need to move Ndidi from his midfield position. 1
adejo92 Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 SFE strikes again - I reckon Gray must still be in the Whatsapp Group . Not a very positive team but when you look at the injuries, can't really see anywhere that it could be improved, its just the position we are in. Anyone else putting a healthy bet on Chris Wood to score? Our defence is like a wet dream for him.
UHDrive Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 It's not the end of the world chumps. 3 years ago we'd be raving about thrashing burnley with a team like this 🤔
FoxesWalk Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Lineup looks awful, so expecting another 5-2 win. 3 1
RowlattsFox Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Not a lot of options. It was always going to be a difficult team to look. Worth remembering that people wanted Tielemans rested. Game plan is to be solid and hope Iheanacho and Vardy can do something. Wing backs strength is going forward and they need to be good today if we are going to create anything. That team can still win.
Shane Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Would’ve started Tavares over one of Mendy/Choudhury, no need for 2 DM’s.
HitchinFox Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 That team is so weird that it might just work. Are we to presume the plan is to try and absorb Burnley's direct style with three at the back, then put their full backs under a bit of pressure, hoping it gets them off their stride? Whatever it is, Iheanacho needs to do his bit and put in a shift in today. Harass, press, hold the ball, create problems etc. By doing that – hopefully – Vardy might just be forgotten for the 1.5 seconds he needs to find a space to run into. Yuri will do the rest... 0-1 Leicester. Here we go!
deanolegend1989 Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 So Ndidi at cb? That worked vs Everton so you can understand why he’s done that again... Tielemens our best dictator , playing in the hole? That worked well bs Slavia so you can understand that too. Mendy and Hamza together..let’s not even go there. 5 atb gives us absolutely no threat as it is but in that system? Literally embarrassing. And people wonder why Vardy can’t score when we play like this. Absolutely shocking and we will get what we deserve tonight and that’s absolutely nothing.
Steve Earle Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 A stronger team than I expected. Hope Evans is OK for Saturday, and somehow Ndidi, Tielemans and Vardy pull through this AND have something left for Brighton?
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 3 March 2021 Posted 3 March 2021 Whose going to create in that line-up. This will only work if Timmy & Riccy have blinders.

Sorry @StanSP and @urban.spaceman but I'd been privately told the side a couple of hours ago so thought I'd prepare the thread. Apologies for treading on toes
